Halo B OMG..

For the first time this weekend I went to go play with my TES I had to chrono (the reg had me shooting 306fps). Then I put on the Halo B I bought with the marker and thought "Yea this is going to be the shizznit", guess what it wasnt. I got owned constantly (most of it my own fault), but thing that got me was the marker kept chopping with the eye on. So I was like "Crappy eye POS, stupid paint blender." Then in one game I noticed that in one shot I shot 3 balls. Fast trigger? No it was the freaking super expensive Halo B force feeding the balls like a mad man when i snap shot. This ref (kid) at the field wanted my Halo B and i thought about it. At the same time he let me borrow his 12 volt revvy. After that the marker ripped, it had no problems (I didn't/or can't shoot over 13bps evidently:P )although I could've bought a new barrel because the barrel to paint size must've been crappy(didnt shoot very straight). So I thought I should buy a new barrel to cater to the paint form that particular field. Besides all that the real point is should I sell my Halo B to the kid and get a 12v rev or evo2, or is there a better ball detent out somewhere so i can save my Halo B and use it with this marker and future markers. Help or choice much appreciated especially if you've had the same problem (or know some one who has) and solved it.

Idk if the TES can accept new detents. But if there isn't I think the new board out for HALO's and doesn't put as much pressure on the ball. You could try that. Or sell the HALO and get an egg and put a z-board in that and be just as fast. (as a halo with out new board, new board in a halo is something like 30 bps)

WOW. A 30bps board and less pressure = a good idea and its a upgrade so it cant be that expensive (like a new Halo price ticket). Although the evo with x-board sounds like a formidable idea also, but that all depends on how much money that kid is willing to give me:D . Thanks alot, ill ponder and in the meantime keep moding till modings out of style;) .

The new board is $35 (for the halo) and its a z-board not a x-board (those are in revys).

why cant you just adjust your ball detent in farther?
the halo b works perfectly fine on the t.e.s.

omg i just tried to adjust my detent and broke it:mad: the cap on it fell off and it wont go back on :pissed:
