question!

After doing extensive reviews, i have concluded that i will be getting either an impulse or a B2K4. the bushy is cheaper, but the impy offers more upgrades. simple question. Which one will be good for me? i play back and mid. i used to go through a hella lot of paint in one day, but i'm tryin to change.:rolleyes: should i just go with a cocker? thanks for all yallz help.


p.s please don't tell me about it's personal preference, i will make my decision off of your responses. thankx a whole heep maan.

what upgrades does the Impulse have that you cant do on the bushie? If you want you can basically gut the bushie and put all 3rd party parts into it, so really customizing is about even. Yeh there may be more options for an Impulse but after awhile they all become the same thing just different makers. Stock wise the B2K4 with PDS has the Impulse with Vision beat. Its a better anti-chop system since its a beam-break instead of reflective. You have a decent inline reg and LPR as well as an extremely customizable stock trigger. Oh also dont forget how Impulse's seem to come with that little problem called FSDO which the bushies dont suffer from. Playing back or Mid you really want to be able to sling paint when you need to, I dont see why you would want to go to a cocker for that need a mechanical just cant keep up with these type of markers bps wise.

My team mate as an icon like yours but with more upgrades that he uses as a backup marker. It's a nice gun but it doesn't even come close to a bushmaster (or an imp for that matter).

yep, check out Yoda's link to that other thread, it'll answer most of ur questions. basically, Bushy is a bit better stock-
-faster
-looks cooler (hey this is an ICD forum-of course I'm biased)
-ive heard bushy's are a little lighter, but they're pretty similar.
-PDS is better than Vision.
-comes with LPR, and the stock inline now is actually okay.
-customizable trigger-THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST THINGS BOUT BUSHY'S!

in terms of upgradability, they are about even, especially since B2K4's now come with cocker theads(that means better choice in barrels). Also, Chaos Board is cheaper than upgrading an Impulse Board, i think just as fast.

However, Impy is cheaper, and there is something to be said for buying from a larger company (even if said company is full of nazis-sry if any1 here actually works for SP).

Impy's are popular fo a reason-they are good, esp. for the price. But for just a little bit more $$ Bushys are a great value. Good luck finding a B2K4 soon tho, most retailers won't have more of them in stock for maybe 2 weeks minimum.

I've used my other team mate's vision impulse when I sent my bushy into vaporworks to get some mods, and lets just say I miss my bushmaster alot. The vision imp is good (very good in fact), but the one I used had several of the recommended upgrades on it including tapeworm, bolt, and trigger and it still wasn't as good as my bushmaster (IMO). The imp was definitely heavier, and I also managed to chop with the imp, while I don't chop with my bushmaster. The imp was a little more consistent, but not by much.

If you are on a budget the thing I really like about bushmasters is that you can get antichop rams from several reputable dealers that work quite well if you can't afford PDS. For this reason alone I was strongly considering buying a BKO with SP mod as my backup. As far as I know the Imp doesn't have that upgrade (someone correct me if I'm wrong).
