well, i know that most M98 users that still have stock barrels will need to polish it. or just anyone that feels they need to polish there barrel.
1st:Get a screw driver(electronic if course) and a really long bit(preferably not a drill bit, but a very long screw driver), get a old t-shirt or something like that, get your barrel, and something like mothers mag polish( you can use that, but i used something called rubbing compound)
2nd: put the bit on the screw driver, and wrap the t-shirt around the bit. it may be needed to duct tape the end of it
3rd: Put some of the mothers mag polish or whatever on the t-shirt. get another person to help you with the next step
4th: have someone hold the barrel tightly, then stick thescrew driver in the barrel and turn it on, move it back and forth for a while. Make sure to turn it off BEFORE you take it out
