Heya.
I'm planning on getting a new bolt for my dragun, does anyone know of a high flow bolt that functions with flush rear cocking, or the thread size of the rod?
I want to get a bandit bolt but I don't know if it will work with my flush cocking rod. If anyone can help me out, I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks,
Gord.

The flush cocking screw in the back of the bolt is 10-32.

Err, Not doubting you or anything, but just got an email from bandit saying the thread on flush is 8-32... now I'm confused. Living in canada an order mixup can cause a big headache... so can anyone confirm the thread size?

From upgrade thread:

A: Most. They take most parts designed for spyder compacts, such as VAs. They will take any spyder bolt that has a 10-32 thread tapping in the back. Usually the set screw for the bolt is in the back on spyder bolts, so the cocking rod will replace the set screw. You can also use a rear cocking bolt, but you will then need to take off your flush cocking rod. You also can't use spyder ball detents, grips, sight rails, or triggers. But you can use pretty much everything else.
Did you tell bandit that you've been told different? They could of made a mistake.

Ok, so if I want to use my flush cocking rod I'll get the bolt with 10-32.
They do sell bolts with both sizes, I just want to make the right choice.

They do sell both sizes? I went to their site and only saw one.
EDIT: Nevermind, I over looked it.

some of those Draguns use metric, not standard.....thus 10-32 would not work. What you can do is take apart your bolt from your cocking mechanism. Go to the hardware store, and buy a 10-32 screw, and see if it screws in. You can although buy a 10-32 bolt, a screw, and modify it to work.
Yep, just found it.....the Dragun takes a M4x.7 metric screw. I bought a spudnukl bolt with 10-32 threads and modded mine to work....here is what you do
1. Cut the 10-32 screw to the same length as the metric one that comes stock
2. Round down the head of the 10-32 screw with a dremel tool. This is why it wont fit right away, is because the head is too big. What I did, was bought a nut for the 10-32 screw, and screwed all the way up the screw. As you grind with the dremel, it will unscrew from the nut, but it will make the head more evenly rounded.
3. Once the length and head are right, grind down some of the threads starting in the middle to the head of the screw...this way there is less friction on the cocking assembly.
4. Assemble your setup
