Well, I'm sure a few of you have heard by now "Name one pro team that uses Timmy's and is good. Yeah that's right, so I guess Timmy's suck!"
Well for anyone interested, the prelims at world cup have just been posted and going into the finals, Bob Long's ironmen are ranked first. Avalanche and the SC Ironmen are both out (hah, losers :P) and it's gonna be interesting to see who takes first (go bobby go). Just thought I'd post this since I'm a big fan of Bob's Ironmen.
Not too shabby eh? :D

They placed third. pretty good, but I woulda hoped for 1st :) 1st place was won by Dynasty who sorta screwed aftershock outta first place a little unfairly. Oh well

You can't really blame Dynasty for what happened. It was the refs, fully. The score sheets were signed by both teams. The refs changed the score afterwards.

I don't know man. I like Dynasty more than I like shock, I think they're great players and as a team they really have a future. However, I would prefer personally to see a tournament won by a flag hang, not by a losing team pointing out something to the regs to get a win

I fully agree with you. The tournament was handed to Dynasty at that point. It wasn't Dynastys fault though. If you were to do the math, if it wasn't for the 12 point's and the 1 for 1 penalties, Shock would have won the cup still. It was the 12 point penalty after the game sheets were signed that cost shock the win.

what were all the penalties for?

A one for one was pulled. On some obscure never used rule, they were also nailed with a 12 point penalty. From what I was told the one for one was for playing on. The 'Shock player was hit and continued his run. After everything was signed and made legal, it was changed. That is my understanding of it at least. Please feel free to post if you have any more info on what happened there.

Yeah,
But in talking to Bobby yesterday, he said:
Of the 40 players on pro teams in finals, there were:
13 or 14 Intimidators
11 or 12 Angels
5 or 6 Cockers
A couple of other electronics
1 Kingman
1 Matrix
Maybe Timi is winning?

Of course, that helps alot when you've got a ten man team using intimidators :)
You do however see a few of them in other players hands these days, and the fact that shock uses a few does alot to legitimize the gun in the eyes of other players
