It depends on a pivot trigger like the spyder i like the double, but for a sliding trigger like a cocker i like single.

I like the piranha PRO trigger and after i did my trigger job for it its soooo light. The triggers for the PRO are custom thats what i like. IT was already light before i did the trigger job what i did it again so i barely pull the trigger and it fires so smooth and easier. To me the double is much better. I dont know why i dont like the single. I like the double cause i sometimes shoot with 2 fingers and other times i shoot with one so it would be just easier to have a double trigger. Thats just my opinion. ITs your preference on what you like.

Yeah, a double trigger on the cocker would be more of a nuisance than just keeping it the way it is. In general, I like single triggers better because they give the gun a more authentic feel and are more natural to hold, in my opinion. Double triggers are nice too, on certain guns, but on my friend's shutter if you try to use one finer on the first groove, there is nowhere for your middle finger to go and than it is comfortable. It mainly depends on how you like to shoot a guess, with one finger or two.

Double tiggers are great on pivoting mechanical triggers.
But they dont belong on sliding mechanical triggers or any electro trigger, at least I dont think so.
Predator2

actually for an electro trigger. Many people prefer a double trigger. It is still a pivot trigger.

Yeah, i prefer a double on an electro for sure, cant use my ring finger on a single trigger

I still would rather have a single trigger on my matrix than a double. My middle finger is the only one I use, and I use the upper half of the trigger. Ive tried to use the lower half to take advantage of the leverage, but Im just use to using only the upper half. So, a double trigger doesnt serve a purpose to me because of the way I shoot.

Only reason I got a double trigger on my Model 98 was due to the fact that I dodn't feel comfortable with the stock trigger. My finger almost didn't go through the stock trigger guard.
I feel comfortable with a double trigger, its just a matter of getting used to using one, which will take me no time at all.

I can't shoot well without a double trigger. I don't shoot well with my index, and my middle is uncomfortable. But to upgrade to a double- HAVE YOU SEEN THE PRICE OF A DOUBLE FRAME?!?! Why are they so expensive?

I guess I'm alone when I say I like the single trigger better then the double. Double just feels weird. And I've got my trigger pull (single trigger) to were I can tap it and the gun will fire.
PS. Thanks TL for the trigger info. It works awsome.

Well.....the poll is not very informative because a single trigger on a high end semi like an autocoker or automag is completly different then a single trigger on a blow back gun. I like the single trigger on the high end guns way better. but when i use blow back guns like my piranha pro, i love the double trigger. So i think the poll should specify the type of gun its on....ohh ya i forgot, electonic guns got there own trigger pull to but i don't own one of those

In backyard games- where full-auto and burst modes are allowed- you want a single- so you have more control over the gun. Double are good for others because you usually have a higher rate of fire, but autocockers are an exeption. They have a sliding trigger- so it is more difficule than with a swinging trigger.

I've shot both a double on my spyder and a double on an angel. I also shot a single on my brothers piranha. I perfer the single. I perfer the single because it gives me a better grip on the gun. I didnt find that either was any faster.

IMO,single shooters cant shoot quite as fast as double shooters, unless the single shooter has a good trigger mod and the double has no trig. mod
filasophikal

not as fast as me... 14+ bps... with a double trigger...
in certain situations.... like snap shooting... single trigger would be the best... because its easier to snap shoot with one finger, than two...
on autocockers, i have shot both single and double... single is the best... because for me... once i get into rhythm... i am able to shoot 12 bps... on double its like 9-10 bps...

I only realy like a double on a higher tension spring- in other words- a heavy pull. Single is a lot of fun for me.

I used to have a single trigger on my model 98. After I sold it and got my STS, I have found that a double trigger can pop off a lot more paint then a single. So as you can see, I like the double trigger a lot better.
