Alright. I am finally ready to purchase a tournament gun, and i decided on a BKO because it is affordable, built like a rock, and it leaves me money for upgrades. However, since i am somewhat of a noob, i am not really sure what to do with my regulators.

I know that there are two internal regulators, but i want a bob long or a stabilizer because i run CO2

On the website, it says, "The BushMaster series offers "low-pressure" operation. The main operating pressure is 225-275 PSI nominally adjusted to visually via the gauge on the primary regulator. The secondary pressure is factory pre-set and regulated to 85-95 PSI. Gas usage is controlled through these 2 internal regulators. The unique feature of this gun is the regulator adjustment. This allows precise adjustment for the velocity control of the gun and optimal gas efficiency."

So if i put a horizontal stabilizer or torpedo, would it be ok? The reason i am asking this is because i know that you're supposed to put your regulators in a certain order.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I can't wait for my BKO to get here!!!!

PS. How does this sound for a setup

2004 BKO
VL Evolution II w/ Z board
Vapor Bolt
14 in Smart Parts Tear Drop
Bob Long or Stabilizer reg
anti syphoned 12oz CO2

you will be getting an 04' BKo right? if so the best possible CO2 setup would be a female (horizontal) palmer stabilizer, AND the stock reg. powered by a 20oz ANTI SIPHONED Co2 tank.

the stab. will, well, stabilize the CO2, and the stock reg will regulate it into a fairly consistent power source. The o4' stock regs are pretty good so it should work great like that.

with that setup your performance will be close, if not as good as, HPA.

exactly what lucky mentioned, also your setup seems fine but dont get a vapor bolt right off the bat. The vapor bolt is only needed if you have blowback otherwise the stock bolt will work just as well

Thanks a bunch

I prolly will get a shocktech super fly bolt because it is delrin and i want to protect my baby's interns

Should i get a bob long or a stabilizer? And should i leave the stock regs where they are?

I would go Palmers if you are thinking you willl be using CO2 for awhile.
Dont get the superfly bolt. THe stock bolt is great, and is derlin too.

get a female palmers if your going co2, that way you can use 2 regs (good for co2). If you get the bob long, you can only use 1 reg (not so good for co2)

ok definitely goin wit the palmer

what is with this milled unmilled crap?

What are the performance differences?

the milled ones look better IMO anyway, bu they come with the 03' reg :(

the unmilled ones don't look as nice IMO, and the come with the 04' reg :D

that was true last time I checked anyway, but ICD likes to change things like that around from time to time, so who knows what reg yur gonna get, lol

but yeah, other than the reg, they perform the same, it's all about looks

yeah i heard about the regs

what about the electronics? I heard the milled have a slower board than the unmilled.

I also heard that ICD is comin out with a 4 way (fingers crossed) Is that true?

I think there both capped at 15bps, some of the unmilled ones where capped at 36bps.

Dman1514: Check out the ICD FAQ (http://www.pbreview.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=212535). It may help you out later on.
