Today i was at a field i went to eat and i had some paintball stuff wiht me. i was at Mcdonalds and this guy said"u into paintball?" i was like "yea" then he said "thats a shame 15 years from now we will have a few more terroists in america" and i started to protest against his coment but hes like screw you,you future terroist.
People just dont understand paintball its not like terroist trainging its to blow off some steam and have some fun

I agree. I think its because of a news report on like CBS about how violent it is. Some people dont realize how much of a rush you get playin it. Ya it hurts sometimes but it is way worth it. In my opinion, it is the new americas favorite past time. Good luck and happty hunting

i've been considering writing to a local newspaper to enlighten people about paintball, show them it doesn't breed terrorism, it's not ultra-violent like the media makes it out to be. boxing is far more violent, you quite literally try to knock the other person out, how is that any less violent than paintball? and boxing is broadcast nationally. now don't get me wrong, i have nothing against boxing, but which is more violent? knocking someone out, or, essentialy throwing some .68 caliber soft plastic balls at each other pretty fast.

I am white, I just have a problem with those white trash guys. I know im stereotyping, but I have seen more than my fair share of these people fit the stereotype. they are generally unclean, drive a bad pickup truck, work at some job that gets the greasy(If they work), have a generally messy house and judge things based on their very very limited experience with it. My dad is one of those people and Im trying to stray as far as possible from being that myself. He tried to make my first paintball marker with pvc pipe and an air compressor before he let me buy one. That blade that I bought back then performed better than that monstrosity(sp?) could ever hope to. I dont judge people based on their ethnicities, I judge them based on character.

I was thinking if paintballs were made of plastic it would be painful to get hit and the paintballs wouldn't break on people b/c were are made of muscels, tissue,and blood vesils(those are all soft and give a little and are not stiff unless we want them to be), and bones (under all of that stuff). slapshotshorty no i dont know what you are talking about, tell me in school, i'll bring a coppy of this.

Yes, but this feels like getting pinched. Nobidy likes getting pinched :bawling:. Ive heard from so many angles that paintball is dangerous. My dad was telling me how theres over 5000 paintball related deaths each year(he pulls stuff out of his :censored: a lot) and then we went to my uncles, where the proceeded to get drunk and shoot stuff. Like full beer bottles, cans of gas, ect. Being stupid is more deadly than anything we could ever do.

Yeah dangerous. But sometimes when you get hit you don't feel a thing (not just in the mask). Once when i was playing football, Brad Benson's (Former New York Giant player) son got tackled and broke his leg during one of my games (NOT JOKING(JAKE, EVEN ASK CHRIS, HE WILL CONFIRM MY STORY)).

see i live in a very small town and every one hates paibntball, there all ohhh it is directly related to sept 11. Bull $hit, i never see any terrorists on cnn chasing each other with paintball guns pretending to be killing innocent civilians. I am currently home schooled because of stuff like that. My school portrayed me to the town as the next Eric Harris or Dylan Cleobold just because we live 20 miles from Eric originally lived. My school searched every ones lockers one day, and uhh ohh i just happenned to have my barrel and my tank in my bag, so i got expelled. i hate hokie freaks like them.

Well, to get into this sport, I had to show my parents this chart that showed that bowling had more injuries per year than paintball. Also, people complain that paintball is training "to be a terrorist." If you don't like it, then don't watch it. There are some people that compplain about a certain shock jock talks about on his radio show. All you have to do is turn the radio off. ARE YOU THAT STUPID??? That's the thing with the so called "activists." They just hunt for things that could be wrong and just stay on it. Even though all they could do is stop looking at paintball stuff or stop watching Jerry Springer or whatever show they are against.
