I have noticed that the progressive is very similar to the AA except for the AA is a two piece and the progressive is a one piece.

I have also noticed the same thing between the AA with the Freak front and the teardrop, they seem to be the same except for the fact that one is a two piece.

Are there more differences between them than the 2 piece and 1 piece deal?

Nope. The AA is the biggest ripoff in paintball barrels today. It's a $30 progessive cut in half and threaded. All SP barrels are just Progressives, save the Freak.

The AA doesn't come in multiple bore sizes so the only thing you can customize is the color. If you want a 2 piece barrel that you can customize get a CP 2 piece. It has tons more options than most barrels out there and it's cheaper than the AA too.

The AA is the exact same as the progressive but much more expensive. The only difference are the looks but other than that....ripoff
