Im just curious I ordered a core sharc a few days ago and have heard both good and bad about it, im curious as to if anyone else has had any major (as in unfixable) trouble with it. And if they have had any trouble at all how they went about fixing it.
Thanks

Has your marker come in yet? Have ya tried it out? What are you worried about? If ya heard all this bad stuff, why did ya get one?:eyes:

So far I love my Sharc. However I have noticed a few short comings.
First off almost the entire trigger frame is plastic. I can't really tell about the trigger and gaurd. They feel plasticy, but the feel dense like metal. Fortunatly, it takes spyder frames. So that will be my next upgrade. A significant design flaw in the frame is the holes for the bottomline screws. They are cheap cylindrical bolts just pressed into the plastic. So it's possible to rip the screws right out of the trigger frame.
Second, the braided hose uses a threading pattern from pluto. If you don't like the drop backwards, you can't just replace it. Since the bottomline and the expansion chamber use proprietary threads, you have to replace the expansion chamber as well as the bottomline. Since I was converting to a HPA system, I just got a gas thru grip. It all worked out in the end, but I ended up spending $20 more than I wanted to. :|
Even though the Sharc is rear cocking, there is an open side cocking slot. It's irritating, but I just covered it up with electrical tape since I have the black one.
The Sharc has it's flaws, that's for sure, but for the price, this gun is plenty worth it. It's just worthwhile to get a new frame.
