makeing a homemade barrel

i am very serious about making my own homemade barrel anyone got suggestions on what i could do

brass is a very good barrel material but the only prob is that its weak so it can bend easily

i was thinking pvc pipe because it would be easy to thread i am starting this project in the morning so i appreciate the feedback

I dont know how you would make fine threads on the pvc but ive heard of people putting a larger piece on the end of ther talons and then putting a smaller peice that just fits under that. not really a barel though just and extension.

lol i am making it for a spyder i was thinking of buying pvc pipe that is a tiny bit bigger then a paintball, making air holes so it is quiet, making it like 21 inches for accuracy, and then making threads on the end which i have no idea how i am gonna do that

If you make so big that a paintball can roll down it without aid than you break balls in that barel like none other.

a 21 inch wont be any more accurate the a 10 or 12

a PVC barrel would in no way be better then the stock spyder barrel you have. brass is soft, not exactly weak and it is easy to polish it to a very smooth surface which is why it is good for barrels, it is also heavy but that isnt a problem because it balances well with a tank.

if your gonna make a custom barrel, try to do a quality job. not to mean but the pvc pipe idea and the most stupid idea i ever heard. you want the bore to be bigger then the ball, 21 inches, and lots of ports... ill be surprised if your gun can even push a ball out of that p.o.s. and you seem to be stuck on the only step required to make your custom barrel (besides buy 21 inches of pvc pipe). Just chop up your barrel into peice and make a custom gun stand, and sha-bam you made something good.
