Making my gun lower pressure with a regulator

Do I need to make my Piranha a lower pressure because I have to shoot harder balls because they will break otherwise, will a regulator do the job?

By no means do you need to make your gun LP.

But if you want to, you will need more than just a reg. The inimum parts you would need would be a new valve, new bolt, reg and a LP chamber.

it might be a paint to barrel match problem.....

yeah like Counterfeit sed, you gotta get a low pressure chamber(which i think you already have), a high flow valve, high flow bolt, and a regulator. Also, you'll need to polish your internals, and get a small bore barrel with little/no porting to maximize efficiency. I think what your problem is either you have your velocity cranked up or your having bad paint/bore match.

I changed to a new barrel(PMI RAZZOR PURSUIT 14") and I tryed it the other day with viewloaders and it broke five out of 100 balls. Also I had to change my spring because it wasn't shooting hard at all, will a 14" slow the ball this much that I have to change the spring?
