The J&J is a good begginer barrel. I like my J&J. I am probably upgrading to something better though. Prob. a dye.

Get a DYE Excel barrel in medium bore if you want the best for your money.

Get a Smart Parts Freak Barrel System if you want the best possible performance.

Well not know which gun it actually is, i have found that on my Pro Ts G3 the best replacement barrel i purchased for it was an Armson Stealth barrel. I am a back field player and prefer to shoot from greater distances so the 16" barrel was my choice. Considering the 9 1/2 " staock barrel is acurate to about 100 ft the 16" Stealth has put me in a longer range of about 150ft and better accuracy from start to finish . The Stealth does come in a 14' size also. If you get a barrel most don't specify for Piranha but the thread size is exactly the same as the Spyder's .

You guys missed the point, hes buying it for his friend, and i'm shure hes not a rich and he can spend 180 on the freak. The best barrel for the money(possibly the best PERIOD) Is the Lapco Bigshot. At 11.5in its nice and short for a speedball game. And its sweet accuracy will fare good in woods too.

From the post " KNIGHT " made for a barrel, i don't recall the mention of a budget for the barrel. Just asking opinions on them .
The barrels all of us mentioned are from the 180.00 cost of the "Freak Barrel System " so i don't see how any of us missed any point !

i got the j&j ceramic as my first aftermarket barrel, which works great. however, i am now upgrading to an armson stealth, since i play as a sniper and want the quieter sound signature.

A REALLY good friend would spend that much on a barrel for their friend, but to me thats just a little expensive for my wallet. The barrels I would recommend that are cheap and extremely nice would be a CP one piece barrel, Lapco bigshot/autospirit.

i would get him a lapco big shot, best barrel for the money (or any price, except the freak ;) ) for that matter. perfect size and they are just perfect :D incredibly accurate.
