I would love to have a reliable mag as a backup (i love them), but im afraid ill be so used to the electro trigger that i will shortstroke and not be used to the trigger..im afraid i will chop a lot because i wont be used to the trigger (ill be used to a "cant chop" short electro trigger)

Do all mags have the same trigger/

What about those Proteam MicroMag RT 2ks.. They have a double trigger and it looks sorta adjustable and it looks like its real nice.. coudl you still "short stroke" or chop (due to not hittin the trigger right) w/ those mags ..??

All mags have the same trigger pull LENGTH, while the ones with rt valves and e-mag valves are lighter, but the same length.
As for the Pro Team Mags, you can't adjust the trigger, although it is very light. Just don't worry about the trigger oull and short stroking, after a while, your brain will switch gears everytime you switch guns, so you will be used to both triggers, we all really want to accept into the mag family.:)

Just get a Hyperframe for the Mag. Electronic trigger and no shortstroking.

I think a non-battery marker is a perfect backup for an Electro. I made sure to practice with both my Mag and Shocker, switching off every few weeks.

That's why I have 2 degrees! Really, I just read a lot about paintball and play every weekend.

i kind of got lost on the 2 degrees thing....... you mean college wise from taking some courses?? and yes a mag would be a very good back up gun..... and just grab a hyperframe and you'll never short stroke unless your really dumb........ that would be a different story

but this other guy has a electro but has a mag as his back up....

he simply just pulls out the gun everyonce in a while and plays with it to "tone his finger" or something.......

after a little bit you'll get used to it.
