hey um today i got my egg II w/yb and my friend had told me i need to sand it down a little before putting it onto my stock imp highrise feedneck and anywayz......i just tryed to get it on before sanding and with just a little twisting it fit in nice and firmly.......i tryed shaking it and all the tests etc.... and noting happened it didnt wobble a bit.......and so im wondering is this ok or do u think i should sand it down a little and also do any of u guys have urs like this???????
i had to sand mine down a little to fit the stock feed neck.. but if you can put yours in and it fits good, then dont sand it. just make sure you arent forcing it too much, wouldnt want to crack the evo2's neck.

u mean like snp horizontally?????.....its a little loose vertically????????....but i think thats normal i mean just a tad?? but anyway is it easier to snap that way if it has a nice tight fit? i dont think its capable of snaping while im running or sliding ect but with many hoppers if u drop your gun or bang it on the ground or fall somethin is bound to happen
nono i meant snap when putting it in or removing it.. not during game. wouldnt want to force it in too hard or anything. once its in and pretty snug, it should be fine running, etc. i have played with mine few times, and love it and had no problems.

i had to sand mine down for a long time before it would fit, and one of my teamates got one and it fit his perfect. Stupid Viewloader making there egg feednecks inconsistant. or perhaps different consistancys in both stock feednecks on impys and the necks on the VL egg.

It took me an hour and a half :| I will still sand it down more, but this time I will get less fine sandpaper.

Ditto, I sanded mine today, and it took about 10 minutes (including trial and error fitting) to get it just right, but I got the neck cut for a nice low profile, sanded just right, good stuff.
