I have had my Mag all summer so far an i am not very happy with it's preformance so far.

I started with it being stock with power feed all american 14 " barrel. running co2. I broke so much paint all i did was clean it in the field. I also had to much drop off with the gun. I took it to a shop were they speicalize in Mags. They put a Monster mag upgrade in it which change the air value and a new Venturi bolt the foam less style.

The drop off went away as did some of the paint breakage but I still can't seem to go through a game with out breaking a ball or two. I have a 9 volt hopper which seem to work good. I do shot fast and this may be why I seem to chop a lot of paint?

I know paint and barrel is a factor I use PMI prem. and marv's to but it doesn't seem to care what paint. I had a tippman 98 and broke no paint be fore my mag but I just don't know where to go from here.

you have a bad bolt. Or, you have bad paint, but most peeps break a few balls evry game, or maybe yers is just a lemon, call the agd tech line.

Thanks

is it possible that its just not dropping enough paint with the 9 volt hopper?

A mag cannot outshoota 9v hopper unless itis electric.

How's the paint fit? All summer I used Big Ball in my 32º barrel. Last month the paint mix changed a bit and it got a little too big for the barrel. I was busting balls every game, and it was not shortstroking. The paint was a tight fit in the barrel, and some balls fit and some didn't :(

I switched to my 8.5 TASO (with a slightly larger bore), and last Sat broke 2 balls in 1000+ rounds all day.

Better fit=less ball breaks

"Monster Mag" upgrade: Did you get that the same time you switched to HPA? Maybe the tank is the reason why you got rid of the shootdown...........

I think the bolt is probally fine.

and does that mean that they took off the stock parts and replce them with.... diamond labs, ans and shocktech stuff?? stay with the stock..... it's better, you co2 tank prolly wasnt supplying enough air or did charge fast enough..... with a mag you could probably out shoot a 9v revvy, and maybe the co2 was freezing the valve slowly..... and you didn't notice..... the only problem i ever had with my mag was i was dumb and didn't turn in the velocity adajuster all the way and the gun woulnd't shoot

after the monster mag i still used co2, PMI did change thier piant and it sucks now. new outside coating swells in heat more then before. but i tried Zap and others same problem. its like the paint does't fall through the power tube correctly.

the monster mag work real good for the performec so far
how do you feel about the A/A barrel
