This really pisses me off

I got an e-mail from some guy telling me that the reason that I had a bad experience with a certain brand of paint (this is from a review on this site) was because I owned a stingray.:pissed: He said that I should return it,and save up to get a shocker,just like his!!!Who here thinks that we realy need people like that ruining a sport that we all work hard to give people the right impression of.Who here thinks that I should find put where he lives,and go shoot him in the butt,proving to him that it doesn't take a $700 to mark somebody.Here is the exact letter from him.Moderators,feel free to fill in any comments or fill in his words with your own to reflect upon his intelligence.I think blaze paintballs are descent and deserve more than a 2 but maybe the balls shot poorly because you had a ****ty cheap *** stingray that's designed for brasseagle balls which are bigger in size than blazes. Take the gun back to Kmart ,get your money back and save for a shocker like me. Thanks StingrayToter.

And I will agree that mine sucks,thats why I can't wait until I get my mag.But it's not like it takes a thousand dollar gun to play the sport of champions.As long as the marker can sling the paint in the general direction of your opponent,your set.I wonder if he even realizes that the review was based on my first time out playing.

your right it doesnt take a $700 gun to play paintball, but it takes more than a plastic brass eagle marker.

and i have heard a lot of good things about diablo paintballs, but i only shoot premiums so i wouldn't know.

well i like blaze, but i havent gotten batches that are just terrible, all would be dimpled and have flat sides. you're right it doesnt matter what gun you have as long as you have fun. granted you have more fun with a nice gun :D

don't listen to people who tell you that you're gun is a reflection of your skills. let's put it this way, once you're up on the opponent's bunker, ready to mug him, it doesn't matter if you have a nelspot, stingray, cocker, or angel. whicheverway, you're gonna tap the guy.
start off with what you have, hone your skills, learn to play with a low grade gun, and you'll be fine. this way, by the time you're ready to buy that mag you want, you'll be able to use it to it's full potential, unlike many kids who have nice guns and don't know how to play--all the gear and always in the rear.
...and as they say, new players AREN'T SUPPOSED TO HAVE NICE GUNS YET. you have to earn it.

i totally agree. there was a guy at my field the other day who had an angel. he said he bought it because everyone says its the best gun ever. well, he was the WORST player that day. in speedball, he was the first one eliminated 90% of the time. in the woods, i dont think he shot more than 100 rounds the whole day! he just hid behind bunkers saying "where are they!? do you see them!?"

auto cocker and shocker and mag is waste of money. a pmi trracer s/a or a aci maverick pump could perform just as well and maybe better if the person weilding it is skilled.
