ok i have an impulse with the maxflow reg mounted horizontally. i want to move it to the vertical positon using the eclipse adapter. i was going to order this from FOM. before i order it i would like to know if the voodoo free flow is another add on or is it something i should order instead of the eclipse. i was also wondering if the free flow is a bolt on or is there any modification that are needed to be done( i have an older impy s/n 3499). i would also like to know what the pricing is on just ordering it or sending my impy off to have it done. i know we dont like to post prices here so if FOM could send me an email on pricing that would be great. thanks in advance for the info.

The VFF (VooDoo full flow) mounts in front of the trigger and replaces the smart parts vertical adapter. The Eclipse FRM would mount in the same place. Therefore you can NOT use both at the same time.

The VooDoo has a very definent effect on preformance (good) while the FRM is just a way of relocating the reg. You COULD use the FRM with the Eclipse solnoid optmizer to rid your self of "bolt stick"

thanks FOM, is the VFF a bolt on item, like the eclipse, or would i have to send it to you to be installed

The VFF does require the pluging of the tranfer hole. We do this free of chage. It requires a 10-32 tap, some loctite, and some dissambly of the gun, but most fokes can do it them selves.

MacGyver,

If you can, go with the FullFlow! It's an amazing mod, and will make your 'gun shoot a lot faster. Faster cycling, recocking, etc.

is this the transfer hole on the bolt? the smart parts diagram only lists that as the transfer hole? i dont think it is but i thought i would ask.

If you look at the botome of the body without that vertical adapter, there is the 1/8npt air input (where the hose goes in or the vertical mounts) Very near it is a small "locating pin". This is a 10-32 set screw that is not screwed all the way in.

The transfer port is above this. If you screw a tap into the "locating pin" hole, it will thread right into the transfer port we want to tap. realy simple as this acts as a perfect alinement port.

Hope this Helps!

i just want to be clear that there is a voodoo adapter that moves the horizontal reg to the vertical position? i have seen the voodo for the vert regs but im not sure if there is a model that moves the horizontal reg to the vertical position

no- if you want the VooDoo FFV, you have to use a vertical (gas thru) reg or you have to use your current reg in theunder grip possition.

You could use the adapter to convert to a verticla reg (FRM) with the Eclipse Solonoid optmizer of Smart Parts Tape worm.
