View Full Version : custom Impulse page (work in progress)
Custom Impulse (http://stores.cipp.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=mipaint&Product_Code=CUSTIMPULSE)
This is a work in progress. I am trying to find out how to display a total (instead of having to go to the shopping basket) but I thought some of you might have some fun with it.
When you are done simply delete it from the shopping basket (so I don't send it to you<G>)
have fun!

Putting the prices next to the choices would be nice, like:
Blade Trigger - $5.25
Werm Trigger - $6
Just a suggestion.

lol, Beta, we all wish those triggers were that cheap, eh?
What the hey, why not something like this:
Vision Eclipse - Free if your name is joejoe
Now THAT would be a GREAT marketing idea. :D

Does that page work? It doesn't have the VooDoo/Blade $50 deal. What a "frog foot" ASA? Same as a duckbill?
So if a guy was to build an Imp on that page and pay, that's what he would get? :)

Personally, I'd just call in and have them take down the order. Faster, and I like knowing that I'm talking to the people who will build my 'gun. I can ask for special requests, etc.
Halliday, have you decided to get an Imp?
Hey--couple of good catches there! Thanks guys!
In answer to your question about prices--Yes that is want it is intended to do and the prices will be accurate.
I have talked to the provider of the software and have been told that I can't do the "running total" thing I realy wanted to do. I also have to work out a way to offer Special pricing for certain packages.
Rather then offer every possible combination on things like a freak (length, color, size) I figure this will give a price point and then when we talk on the phone we can get the details.
I'll keep working on it--and i realy do thank everyone for the help

JoeJoe-- try it now

LOL, that's just too good Fom, TOO good!
There's a glitch, though. I checked my name...and the basket still says $799! Supposed to be free, remember? Or at least a good discount...fix the glitch! :D

No. I don't even have my Hyperframe for my Mag yet. I really should try it out and see how that goes.
The improved page is sweet. Did that subtract $20 for being a member of pbreview? ;)
Yes-I have been trying to come up with a way to say thank you to all my freinds from here without getting in trouble with Smart Parts for "advertizing" too low a price.

FOM, can you accept PayPal? If so, that just might speed up this whole "Buying an Impulse" thing.
Question 2: Do the "Silver" Toxic caps match the Chrome ShockTech DF's? It too might speed up my actions......

Fom does not accept Paypal, but he can take credit card information over the phone.
I don't think the silver toxic caps are chrome, but they do match.
Are you sure about the Shocktech? Personally, it's not enough of a drop for me [doesn't take the tank forward enough]. I went with a Lightning instead, and I actually still would prefer more of a drop...the CNC drop Fom makes is perfect...they're out of stock right now, though. :(

CNC? I'm not sure what that looks like. I have a black ST DF on my Mag now and I love it, using my 68/3000 Crossfire stub ;)

I see. With the holes. Looks to about the same length as a ST.
The VooDoo "silver" stuff is just polisned alum--not chrome. (like the Old Shocktech drops --before they started chroming them)
To keep my operating costs down, I accept credit cards directly
The CNC is about 1/2" longer then the Shocktech. it is JUST long enought to sill allow the reg to be adjusted. Unfourtaly, my shop guy is too busy trying to keep up with REAL work to spend any time on the paint ball stuff (you should see all the prjects I have drawn up for him!)

Halliday, trust me, the CNC is not the same as the Shocktech...the Shocktech is so short! The lightning is bearable...but I want longer...like I said, the CNC is the perfect amount of drop.
Or you can always settle for a KAPP DZII, but I'm not using nitro right now.
