Tank: Go with a Centerflag 420 series. They are around $220 and you get 4500 psi which is great for tourneys or not having to wait in line so long to fill at the field.

Gun: It sounds like you might be screwing in you valve to fare on your remote line. Does your tank have an ON/Off also? Turn the remote on/off in all the way and then turn it out about half a turn and see if this helps. It sounds like your gun is getting pressurized as you turn you tank on and and then it gets shut off some how. Let us know how it works.

What do you mean blows your bolt think open?

What does your gauge do when you shoot? What does the gauge read when you turn the remote line on all the way?

I hope that you are running you gun under 200 psi. It sounds like you are in one post and the other posts it does not. Turn you reg all the way down and then turn you remote on. With the remote all the way on turn you reg up so the gauge reads 180.

why dont you just put the tank on the gun and see if that fixes it
and by bolt, i think he means the thingy on the vbert reg, or even on non vert reg, that burst disk

this is it...i hook up my remopte to my gun and i have noting on but when i start to tighten my remote down (tank side) it gets to 180 or so b4 i can completely open the remote(tank side) so now my guage is reading 180, then i shot it and my guage drop to 80 then i try it again and it goes dead, so i open the remote more and i set it to 180 and it does the same thing allover again but when i do that like three times the pressure wont stop it will go over 200 and i loosen the remote real fast, but i dont know why it wont stay at a constant pressure? help me out here guys :(

Turn you reg all the way off and then screw in the remote on/off. When you have it screwed all the way turn you reg up to 180. Then set your dwell and try it out.

What he means is, you either have a vertical reg (like the foward grip) or the horizontal (right under the pistol grip, in front of the bottle) both have an adjustment on them, it's able to turn either clockwise or counterclockwise. when you turn this adjustment you'll see it effect the gauge.

Thanks KK

What I mean is turn your reg all the way down, so the front cap on the reg is almost all the way off. When you gas it up you will notice that there is no pressure at all in the gun. Slowly turn the regulator up (screw the cap in) until the gauge reads 180 psi. Then see what your gun does. Make sure you turn you remote line on all the way.

it sounds to me like you're not turning your remote on all the way..make sure you do...I have a remote system (don't use it anymore, but I still got it) and If I didn't have it turned on all the way...ie: the top screw thingy on the tank screwed all the way down and snug..my pressure in my gun would drop with each shot and take forever to recharge..plluss it leaks if its not all they way on...my back got real cold with the CO2 spraying out onto it. make sure its screwed down real snug...that could be the cause of the pressure drop.

thanks for that reply that makes sense, but when i do turn my remote on all the way it makes my guage go well over 170 but that is probally my bottle its abit messed up so i will get a friends and try it with his..thanks

Make sure you watch your pressure gauge and don't go over 200 psi. You will defiantly have problems if you allow this to long.

From what I am reading it seems that you do not realize that you need to lower the operating pressure using the velocity cap on the max-flow. Please correct me if I am wrong.
