well i just put a new valve and lpr(both zenitram) on my defiant, I managed to work out all of the leaks but now it wont cycle and i do not know why. I checked the battery and unless it has gone dead real fast thats not the problem. I tried adjusting the lpr but no matter how far either way i adjusted it the lpr did not hiss. Everything has been lubed and im at a loss for what could be the problem.

it doesnt cycle at all. the light comes on, and goes off when i pull the trigger. there are no leaks. it should be said that i did liberally lube the solenoid last time i put it on.(the gasket and surface)

Ive tried adjusting the lpr some, it didnt seem to have an effect. how would i know if it is the solenoid? I use nitro not Co2 so that didnt wreck it. I might check tommorow to see if a wire has come loose, but im pretty sure that if the wire was loose the gun would not turn on. Maybe playing with the lpr will work.....

when you are pulling the trigger is the light going off and on? Do you hear the microswitch being pressed and then if you hear that do you hear the solenoid clicking? More then likely when you were upgrading some of the internals you may of pulled or pinched a wire.

Ive checked the wires and there appears to be no trouble. yes the light goes off when i pull the trigger. I dont hear the solenoid going on or off. I think that when I put the valve in backwards it must of blown the solenoid. Now I need to get a solenoid, unless it could be something else.

cant believe i forgot wires... i say check ur noid wire again... mine old bushmasters broke twice.... im seriously considering a vapor harness now

The wires may of still come loose. They may of lost their contact but still apear to be in the harness, that would be my intial guess as putting in the valve backwards shouldn't blow the valve. The only thing that I can really thing of that would blow the noid is overpressurizing it. More then likely your problem lies in your wiring.

I was in these forums during class, but didnt have the chance to reply.

Try reinstalling the stock LPR and see if that helps. Also, check for broken or pinched wires going to the solenoid.

LMK and I'll be able to help you out more.
