Xball/speedball?

k i kno all about paintball and stuff but wats the diff between normal airball and xball? does it have anything to do with the field layout besides a big X bunker?

X-ball is made for more of an entertainment purpose. The games are way fast and way exciting. You can help the teams out by yelling out postions or you can mislead the teams by this. They have 2 halfs (not sure the time) and they play till somenoe hangs the flag, then they have 2 minutes to clean up reload, then they just start all over agian. To win you must have the most flag hanges by the end of the game.

So its a "crowd pleaser" cool once this sh*t gets on TV ppl will realize our sport is great!!

I am pretty sure Dick Clark owns the rights to putting X-Ball on TV, just hope it doesn't take him too long...

ps - the halves are usually 20 minutes each...

thanks I wasn't sure how long the halfs were and when they get Xball on TV will it be live?

X-ball is kind of blending paintball with other sports to try and make it more mainstream. There are penalties just like in other sports. The time is divided into sections with brief breaks in between for the teams. Then at half time they switch sides like in hockey and some other sports. Oh, and the giant X to be x-tra x-treme in the center is kinda lame but it does changes your strategy since there is only one bunker like it. X-ball is really fun to watch. If any form of paintball would be in on TV regularly or even in the olympics as some people hope (I'm not so sure about that) then X-ball would most likely be the format.
