quick question about side cocking bolts(Spyder/Clones)i was told that i could modify my side cocking bolts to rear cocking.i was also told that i could use the autococker cocking rod to mod them to rear cocking,is that true?

Some of the aftermarket bolts for spydrs and spyder clones are threaded in the rear for a 10/32 bolt. These are the same threads that the autococker cocking rod uses. By side cocking, do you mean there is a knob that is screwed into your bolt, or hammer? Not that it makes much difference, I am just curious.:)

you can modify it with a drill and tap. drill the end with a 5/32 bit, tap it with a 10-32 tap.

and i am guessing that the cocking knob is on the striker,cause there is no knob or hole on the bolt.
