Okay, I have corrected my errors on my timmy. I play and it seems my acuracy is really bad. After about 15 ft the ball will take a big curve either left or right or up or down. Also I will have a lot of barrel breaks. Not bolt but inside the barrel. The barrel is clean and so is the paint. The paint I am using is over a yr old and has sat under a bed in normal room temperature. Now my question is, is the paint bad or do I need a aftermarket barrel? Another question is what is a good barrel for about 50-100 at the most? Another thing is color options. The orange timmy is kinda the odd ball with limited after market barrels not matching perfectly though color doesn't really matter I want the gun to look as good as it did out of the box. Thanks in advance.

It has nothing to do with the barrel. It is the paint. Paint that is a year old, generally will not shoot well. No matter what marker you use.
I use the PMI/RP paint. I like premium and Marbalizer. PMI also has a paint called Flash. I don't know if it's new or if it's just hard to come by but, it shoots great.

With bad accuracy or breaks, I usually look at the paint first. If the paint is curving, or tailing off dramatically, it's either bad paint (dimpled, etc.) or you have goo in your barrel that's getting on the paintballs.
Even the cheapest barrel shouldn't cause the paintballs to curve dramatically. They just don't always give you the tightest pattern.
Try some fresh, quality paint. If you're still not satisfied with your accuracy, then you might want to look into a new barrel. I'm using a nickel plated Bigshot (cocker threading). Love it.

yeah the bigshot is a nice barrel but the problem is that it makes the gun really loud. it dosent have porting in the right places so it makes the gun louder. but its really acurate. if you want your gun loud go with it. but if you have some $$ get a freak or boomstick. with the freak it'll insure the best match and it'll be very quiet. or you can just buy a teardrop barrel..

okay I played today and it shot really well. I didn't do great but I got a few elims. My friends lent me some fresh paint and the increase in acuracy was very noticeable. I plan on getting the freak. I am not sure right now though. A new bolt is first on my list and then barrel. I don't need semi board right now. Its okay at local feilds but if they catch you in f/a your banned for some amount of time.Turbo rev sounds nice. I might get it when i feel i need it. I dont snap out 50+ shots in 20 seconds so I don't think I need it, yet.

yeah i would go with the freak and the bolt. the bolt really over the freak. seeing how the stock barrel is really nice. but realy if you have a steady source of paint i.e you order off the net. and you can get the same paint or a paint of the same bore then the freak really isnt necessary. id save my money for something nicer like a volumiser new grips or maybie a high end nitro tank. ooo and get a scuba you'll love it.. lol.. heh hope i helped. layderzz
