I have some questions about phantoms? Many I already know the answer but just want a second opinion.

1. What is the best overall barrel on the market?
2. Do you play against semis often?
3. Do you play against semis often with a stock setup?
4. Do you prefer stock setup over a gravity feed?
5. How often do you use your phantom?
6. How long have you had your phantom?
7. Do you like M-16 or .45 style grips?
8. Do you use any sights? If so, do you like them?

1. For the phantom the Dye Stainless most people say is the best
2.I ALWAYS play against semi's since there arn't many people I know that play pump.
3. I ALWAYS play stock too.

13. I have the 11" stock and I like the shortness. 14" is a little too long for me. The 11" Nickle Plated I think is better than the 14". Same reason as said above.
15. I bought my phantom used for 200$ and it came with the Vertical Air 12 gram and a 15 round stock class tube. I got a good deal cuz it wasn't that old.

17. No I am not a sniper. In speedball I am usually more aggrezive than some pople with semis! I don't like to camp. no fun. be aggresive. earns you respect.
18. I have the 11" stock. it's REALLY good and accurate
19. I have a 15 round tube. 10 is too little ammo for me. I like aving the few extra balls just in case I get into a tight spot and can't reload or something.
20. I want to play toruneys with my phantom but I dunno.

well, the dye is NOT the best, its accually one of the worst, compared to the CCI nickel.

I HATE CCI's M-16, but have felt some that are more comfy to my hand; other than that, 45's w/hogues

used to, but sat WAY too high on the breech, it threw my aim off

always stock, anywhere from 2 to 6 or more reloads ^_^

1. What is the best overall barrel on the market? The stock barrel is about as good as you can get. The CCI Nickel is very nice as well, which is what I have.
2. Do you play against semis often? Almost exclusively against low end semis, but I play stock class whenever I can (once every month or two).
3. Do you play against semis often with a stock setup? Not very often. I don't like reloading against semis. It makes me too vulnerable because I'm not very quick at it.
4. Do you prefer stock setup over a gravity feed? It depends who I'm playing. I love playing stock class and I enjoy it much more than playing GF, but against semis I play GF.
5. How often do you use your phantom? Every time I go out, once or twice a month, I guess.
6. How long have you had your phantom? 6 months
7. Do you like M-16 or .45 style grips? I prefer .45
8. Do you use any sights? If so, do you like them? no, I don't like sights. I don't need one and they take too long to use.
9. What is your average accuracy in a typical game? playing stock class I am probably 30%. against semis it varies a lot, but is generally significantly less.
10. Do you prefer verticle air, bottomline, or standard? I always run bottomline, but I may start running vertical for stock class. I have a bottomline running to a vertical regulator for GF play.
11. How much paint do you go through in a typical game? 20-25 rounds stock class, 50-75 against semis.
12. How much money do you spend on a typical day? $8 stock class (no field fee where I play), $25 GF, sometimes less.
13. Do you prefer the CCI 11" or 14" Nickel-plated ported barrel? I like my 11" but I've never used a 14"
14. Do you use any accesories which allow you to shoulder your phantom? No, not really. I might use a gas through stock at some point though.
15. How much did you pay for your phantom? What came with it and how old was it? $190 shipped used with .45 frame, dye stickies, nickel plated barrel, original box, manual, and velocity adjuster. I've added some accessories since. Not sure on the age, but fairly new since it had the o-rings on the body screws.
16. What color is your gun? black with some silver/nickel.
17. Do you consider yourself a 'sniper'? No, sniping=camping for the most part. It's silly and paintball guns aren't accurate enough to snipe with. If I had one that could hit the exact same spot from a half mile away like a sniper rifle, maybe I'd snipe.

20. How many times (if any) do you reload during a game? Is that playing stock class? none for GF using a 100 round hopper. once or twice playing stock.
21. Do you participate in tournaments with your phantom? no, I like rec ball. I'd play in a pump or stock class tournament though.
