does anybody know anything about nrg paintball from toymax

No, because the markers discussed on this forum fire .68 caliber paintballs, nothing else. NRG paintball is a toy, not a paintball marker. Go look on google.

This brings up an issue... how come paintball hasn't been a registered trademark/copyrighted word? I don't know how that legal stuff goes, but people can't use the word linux in their products unless it relates to the operating system, despite the fact that no one company "owns" linux. Seems to me that paintball should be a registered trademark of the NPPL or some other similar organization to prevent companies like Toymax producing items that might potentially cause problems. (I.E. A kid with an NRG paintball playing with someone that has an air powered paintball marker.)

BUT nrg isnt really paintballs. its like a squirt gun.
