First Paintball Related Death

This happened in the UK and is only connected to paintball.

A 39 year old father of two died playing paintball. He was shot in the back of the head and the ball broke on impact. He died because of a blood clot (summin like that) forming as a result to spinning around rapidly, by reacting to being hit. He complained of migranes and had a stroke. He died after a few days.

He already had a history of migranes.

I offer my prayers to the two children and the wife he has left behind, may he rest in peace.

That's terrible. One of the fields around me had a player have a heart attack and drop dead on the field. Every year they have a tournament in his honor to raise funds for the heart and stroke foundation. His name was Jeff Stiller I believe

that sucks hard! i just learned today that someone at my school died but i didnt know him but it still sucks

he was like taking a bath and fell and hit his head and died or something

I hate to be the birsnitch but is there any confirmation on that story? I've heard variation of that before and none of them have turned out true.

Yes, it is true - it was reported in a few of the UK papers. And UK's here back me up by looking in yesterdays Daily Mail!

I didnt hear about this one but that is truely awfull. You can probably imagin that the press will run away with this one and try and make the sport look even worse.

Little do they know that statisticly paintball is alot safer than most other sports overall.

I have heard though one guy got shot in the throat (i dont know if its true he died) but they said he died...

Thats not the first paintball related death, at a field like 45 minutes from me some stupid kid did the dumbest thing you can do yup thats rigt he took off his mask to whipe off his sweat next thing you know BOOM gets shot in da face and hes dead, the field might be getting shut down, but i dont care if it does cuz id rather go to SC Village only an hour from me hehehehe!!!
