dont buy paint online. there's too high a risk that it'll come in broken.
if u really really have to, look for one in ur own state at least.
but like i said, try to avoid it as much as possible.
btw, no site guarantees that their paint wont break. its not up to them, they dont ship it to u, the shipping compnay(ie UPS) does.

im too poor to be able to risk ordering paint online...
i live in SoCal...there are 10+ half-way decent and up paintball shops within 30-40 minutes from me when NOT in rush hour...
i essentially have my pic...:D
in addition, i've found a little niche shop that sells paint at 8-15 off regular price...:P
im set...lol

But it's alot cheaper to get it online, and you can get higher quality stuff. At my shop I can get BigBall for 45.. Online fore 45 there's alot of good stuff. Chronic, All Stars, Night cat, ect..And I never have problems with breaks or anything..

for those of you who dont thinks its a good idea think about how pro shops get there paint. 99% of the time they order it online so its no different than ordering it yourself

Dude how does your local store get paintballs? through UPS or Fedx so it does matter
The sites I'd get paintballs are from www.xpaintball.com www.firstcallpaintball.com or paintballgear.com

it ISNT a good idea to get ur paint online because YOU arent guaranteed that it'll be in good shape when u pick it up.
it doesnt matter that the shops get their paint shipped to them, 'cause YOU are still guaranteed that the paint will be in good shape.
i dont get what u guys are trying to argue...

Ghost is right, at least at the proshop you can see the paint before you buy it.

yeah, if you buy bulk though you get great deals + free shipping.
Just find a couple people to go in on it with you and buy the 4 cases.

I've ordered tons of stuff online, including well over a dozen boxes of paint, including some from ebay.
One time I got a box with a break in it, and it meant that out of 2000 balls, 500 were crap. I took those, wiped them off, and threw them out of window (over the course of a couple weeks).
I'm sure I saved way more money than those 500 I lost ended up costing me.
In general I shoot evils when it matters, and wal mart draxxus when it doesn't. My a5 shoots better on good paint, but doesn't chop at all.

One major difference. Your local proshop gets them factory direct. You are getting them through a middle man. When pro shops get them it is usually off a semi that carries nothing but paint.

it doesnt matter what kind of paint...even dusks arent that bad.
so long as the paint is properly sized to the barrel, it'll shoot fine.

the sites get them factory-direct too...there's no middleman there either.
the difference?
with site paint, its delivered to u. that means that the paint gets shipped twice in an environment out of ur control. that's twice the chance of getting broken paint.
with shop paint, its shipped once...and if the box u pick were to have breaks in it...the guy just takes it, and u get a new one and check that one. so even with firstcallpaintball's replacement deal, if u were to buy through a proshop, it'll be a LOT less of a hassle as well.
no matter what, i will recommend buying from ur local shop UNLESS ur local shop charges like 100 per case... :eyes:

Not our proshop his stuff comes from UPS I guess that reason is 1. We are a smaller town 2. he only gets probley like 10 cases or less a paint a week.

Sure, firstcall may guarantee that, but I'm sure they don't go through all the trouble in the world to make sure it's packaged perfectly. I'm sure they figure that if you get one break, you won't bother to go through the trouble of sending it back/getting a refund. In that sense, it's a common marketing idea, like those TV infomercials that say we guarantee it will work or your money back. You have to go through a lot of trouble to actually get a refund.

x-paintball. com for sure. there semi cheap and there shipping charges are pretty low. the only thing is that paint does not qualify for free shipping. whatever you do, do not, i repeat do not buy from paintball online.com. it took me like three weeks to get the case i ordered and they didn't even respond to the e-mails i sent asking what was up.

Last time i ordered paint online my case came with at least 40 balls broken in each bag.. but we had a blizzard that week.. so maybe the cold screwed it.
