Honestly, nobody is out to get you. It seems that way at times, but it's never true. Some bad things happen to you a few times in a week... it's coincidence, we don't hold grudges. (well, at least not for something this petty. :P)

Anyway, let me tell you a story.

When I first came here, I only did reviews and didn't even notice the forums for a few weeks. After I joined, I responded very seldom, then slowly started joining in more and more conversations. It took me a long while to get up the courage to actually post a thread. (well, mostly because I had nothing to say) elTwitcho was the General mod at the time and I thought we were on friendly terms... but he shut down my first three threads with impunity. I was kinda irked by it, but later I could understand why. We continued to get along and I have reason to believe he was one of my biggest supporters in becoming a mod. Short story, though it irked me... it was nothing personal. He had a job to do. We do our job without any discrimination, and sometimes people get in a tiffy. Too often, those people decide to do something rash and get themselves banned. However, much more often they just let it go for a little while and try to be better in the future and work out to be great members on the site. There is a large number of well respected members who were on short ropes at one time or another yet they turned out fine. The difference between getting along and getting banned is the eventual realization that it's nothing personal.


I don't mean to be condescending in any degree... just that we don't pick on people.

i was speaking to a moderator. and i pm'ed and spoke to several other members. i was upset at the time and wasnt sure why this happend. but i spoke to some cool ppl that made the situation a lot better. oh well.
