3 speedballer kids, vs 20 woodsballerz

ok, im at my local field and i just got done with a game. i see all the woods kids come out and they're all like " hey dont we look so cool because we have tippmanns and wear camo?" (didnt actually say that, its a joke). they came up to us and challenged us. we were like "you sure?!?!" and they were so sure theyd beat us. oddly 20 kids fit on a 7man field, i dunno how. so here's how it goes. off the break 5 kids out, they all hide behind the cans and barely shot at us, there was maybe 7 kids on the 40's and 50's. so i bunker the hell outta the 30-40 kids:D and I kept snapping the kids in the back out, the my team mates pretty much finished it up.

you always know youre better then the woods kids, but how often do you get to prove it?

well its not that far fetched when i first strated playing i was 14 i when to kids night at a local field a team was there playing on another field not part of kids night because they were to old. Two of their members(5 man team) were young enough to play with us though the teams were 2 vs. 15 the game was over in less then 30 seconds. and in that case majority did not rule and they didn't even bunker one of us shot 13 of us out me included and scared two more out by both of them shooting 15bps at their bunker. Hey speedball tech can destroy tippmans. I buy the story i just think he was on the loosing team.:laugh:

You can't decide all woods/speed ball players act a certain way. Not all woodsball players play woods because they are afraid, some play just because they like the different strategies employed. Some play woods because they like to play long scenario games that take up more time.

Just like how some speedball players don't fit into the stereotype of being an angry teenage drugee with below average intelligence. Us speedballers get categorized just like the woodsballers. Not all speedball players are little hotshot punks who think they are the super great like the legendary "I~Own~You".

You can't say all woods or speedball players are alike.

Oh, I would congratulate you on the 3 vs 20 post if I believed it had to do with anything remotely close to reality.

I, like amzng_spyderman, have been playing Woodsball for 4 years and have finally decided begin my speedball career. I play no differently than I do in my Woodsball games and play just as well if not better. The point is, making up BS stories about really bad stereotypes on woodsball vs. speedball players is just wrong.

Oh, and you want to know why outnumbered teams can generally beat a lot of woodsball players on speedball fields? It's called communication and practice, something a bunch of woodsball players never get because most of them just met each other that day! Communication is KEY to winning matches and anyone who plays paintball knows this.

On the contrary. I played woodball for 3 years and last year was the first time I set foot on a speedball field. On that first time i played speedball my friend and I(also a woodballer) took out the other team consisting of 5 players, 2 of which played speedball there all the time. The second time I played we entered a tournament and we prompty tore a speedball team to pieces even though we didnt win the tournament. I'm not bragging that I'm good, but seasoned woodsballers can hold their own on a speedball field any day.

I~Own~You, you're calling me biased? How? It's a fact that speedball teams have advantages over woodsball players because of their ability to communicate easily and well. Plus 95% of the time speedball teams whoop woodsball players on a speedball field. I'd also like to see proof from one of the other 3 speedballer kids you 'played with' against this large team. I understand that they can still communicate but I'm saying speedball only teams communicate better than any woodsball team unless they're an ACTUAL woodsball team like OMHW, for example.

Just give it up man, you lied about or seriously exagerated this entire story. But by this point you're too engulfed in your own ego that you've conviced yourself it happened and are now the god of paintball. dude, i play woodsball and speedball. I own in woodsball and am getting better in speedball everytime i play. Many woodsball players are wussies but not all so don't stereotype people.

I haven't been doing to well in woodsball after playing tourneys. I guess it might be just the woodsball setup itself. My reccord for that field is 7 guys in 30 seconds, but I didn't end the game like the other woodsball fields I went to. Speedball is way more fun for me. I can always tell where the guy is shooting me at and I can win most snapshooting firefights. Woodsball on the other hand is hard. It's hard to see camoflauge now. Before I was used to camoflauge so much that it would attract me like a barracuda to shiny objects. Maybe there is something wrong with my eyes now. I can't see them. They are always shooting through 20 cracks between the trees. It's so hard to find them. I guess my problem is that I am looking for the whole player (speedball) instead of looking for hands, arms, shoes, packs or whatever. When a person is exposed on a speedball field, everyone on the field knows it. When a person is exposed on a woodsball field, maybe one person will see him if he moves around too much. As for me, I attract every single woodsballer onto my bunker because I am constantly firing and no one else on my team is. I actually become a decoy instead of actually taking anyone out. I am so held down by all these players shooting at me from never, never, land that I can't do anything. Also I might of lost the accuracy I used to have. It might be because of my 8 inch barrel but most people say my accuracy is fine when they shoot my autococker. Oh well.

I remember the last time I played woodsball before I switched to this church field that was speedball. The church sup air ball field (the bunker positions changed everyday) lasted for 4 months and then closed down because they didn't have a "permit". Sooooo, I went back to the woodsball field only to find out I lost my woodsball skill. Before I was able to take out the entire team of 4 alone, by myself, almost all the time in under 4:00; now I can't take anyone down because I am always stalemated into my bunker. It might just be the field I have mentioned in countless posts of mine. It doesn't reward aggression because of the no mans land. If I can't get in position like my function as frontplayer is to do, I run out of paint shooting these guys that are almost impossible to hit. It's a stalemate field. The field is smaller than the last woodsball field that was closed down, but the games LAST FOR 1 HOUR. How does this happen? Every time I go there the newbies bring all the front bunkers into the back so there is no bunkers in the middle for me to move to. You know whats funny though? The main bunkers are moved so far apart that it's not even possible to shoot each other out. My aim has gone down and I guess the solution is just to work on it. I guess next time I go there I am going to tell the guy that sells paint that he really needs to do something about these newbie cowards that keep messing up the field. One day this tourney team (they wanted me on their team, but I was alreayd on one) came to the field, and they took all the bunkers the newbies put in the back and sarcastically combined them all to make one huge 50 bunker. That didn't last very long. All the bunkers the next day somehow ended up at the base of the hills in the back.

Top Five Reasons why This Story is BS.

1. The refs would never allow you to face 20 people against 3, it's unheard of at my feild as well as most other feilds accross the nation.

2. 20/3=7.33 that means each one of you would of had to take out 7 or more people to win. I doubt you have that much skill let alone enough paint on you to take out 7+ people.

3. He made a comment about nubies having mediocre guns. I think everyone who is anyone in paintball knows that unless your playing with a horrible...horrible gun there is nothing money can do to give you skill. It's something that is acquired, not required to play. Something you don't have if you go around trying to show off your skills like your freaking Bob Long, real paintballers help incoming players, not disgrace them by chasing them away from the sport with BS stories and rants.

4. No respect for woodsball :finger:, you wouldn't be playing your lovely speedball if paintball didn't get it's roots from the woods. Speedball, Airball, Hyperball all examples of(as much as I like all of them) of types of games the sport could survive without. No matter how much you say paintball will always be thought of as a "war game" and you don't need plastic tubes and blown up bunkers for war.

And for the record i got this name because, my friends spread a rumour that i was gonna be a dad, my last name is Rachi so they put Papa for dad and Rach for my last name....i hate paparoach.

i play at scvillage.

i get all these newb woodsballers talking **** about my teammate's worrbladed cocker and my other one's timmy.

other ones get in the whole sniper getup. this annoys me personally, and a couple times, they've overheard me saying something bad about the whole sniper bulls***. ill admit i started those, but still...ugh...

its like an hour's drive or something from where i live compared to a half-hour to sc village.

Heh, me and my team did a 7 vs 35 at the field a couple weeks ago. We got atleast 30 out, but the sheer numbers got us, and we all strongly dislike hills wich handicapped us greatly. I think we did good though.

We did beat them in our own territory though. Basically we just mowed OTB and then we all hung back and continued mowing.

Naturally they immediately picked up the "ITS TEH GUNS!!1OMG!"

And, I~Own~You if you really don't care, then why are you still posting? You got caught in a fib and a bunch of members called you on it; all you had to do was apologize or even just ignore it an this thread would have been gone, but instead you had to keep arguing.
