Does anyone know if you can bring a paintball marker on the plane if you put it in your luggage on the cargo area?

I know a little bit about bringing your marker with you on a plane but still not exactly sure on how to do it. You are supposed to have it in your check-in baggage in the cargo hold and declare that you have it. Tank has to be empty too (obviously) but I don't know how they check that.

You can not take in as walk on bagage. You have too let them know its going in the cargo area. The tank has got too have a ceft. stating its empty,Gas tank company can fil that out. Gas cycl. are haz- mat per say as far as a air line goes.Easy way is too rent a tank where your going.Taking a gun aprt will set them off like no other.Tell them you have it too start with.
