From people who know, which is better and why? I can't make up my mind :| Crossfire can be bought for 30-40 bucks cheaper, but is CenterFlag worth extra 30-40 bucks?
Thanks!

the center flag is the tank i have, and it is going to be much faster and more consistent. i would go with the hyperflow (centerflag) you wont have any shootdown.

In our experince the center flag has a much better reg. It smiply flows more air. We have had many problems with Shockers, Tippmann RTs, and Auto Mag RTs when users have a Cross fire.

I never thought it wild be a problem on a tippmann but when call tippmann with the customer in the store, and discribed the problem (with an rt trigger gun) the FIRST thing they askes was "what kind of N2 system are you using?" when we asked if it made a difference the reply was "Well if is a crossfire or a couple of other, yes it makes a BIG difference..."

Now that said, the Impulse is NOT a gas hog and frankly the Cross fire might be just fine. At least until you try to get down to some realy low operating pressures and long dwells.

Why take the chance? Why not just plop down your $200 and get a Center Flag from the get go?

I'm trying to make the same decision as Betaboy.

Are there are advantages in having a tank with low output pressure (450 psi)?

Crossfire makes one does Centerflag??

I got a crossfire 88 ci 3000psi. I shot a case of paint with it and so far it's worked great. I'm shooting 180 psi at 275(+/-5) fps and I haven't had any drop off during high rates of fire. I haven't tried it at lower pressures yet. Someday maybe.

What I like most about this tank was the design. Instead of short and fat it's long and thin. It tucks nicely under my arm giving me a slim profile.

My friend has a vision imp running on a centerflag, works real nice. But, choose your drops wisely, because it wouldn't fit my DZ II unless i moved the asa all the way back, screwed it in, and moved it forward. Huge fill nipple, and big guage are the reasons, but it works great on his CP. Good luck
