What would you guys pay for a Tippmann 62 with everything you need to play? I've seen them go $500 + All except this one:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=47254&item=3672807561&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW
They didn't know what gun it was, so how much would you pay for one?

I'd drop a pretty penny on one like that $250+ at least, but it's hard to find .62 caliber paint anymore, never mind good quality. It'd be cool just to have though.

I'll be selling one on ebay soon, I'll post a link then. remember, they're full-auto.

That was ball park figure though, and I'm no expert. If you want to know for sure ask Meph over at http://www.pbnation.com he is THE Tippmann guru.

Don't buy one!
I had two of them in the late 80's.
It is a Tippmann SMG-60
It shoots 60 caliber paint - not 62
Paintballs now are 62 caliber (yes, there are 60 & Airsoft out there)

The clips are hard to keep up with and you can only shoot 20 balls at a time (If you get the extenders). The clips shot 5 paintballs that you had to special order. Good luck finding that paint at your local field!

Yes, I did love this FULLY AUTOMATIC paintgun!
But your play has to be skilled as you need to learn to scrabble while loading the gun. Then you worry about finding the orange clips later or buy more.

The 68 Special came out after that and that shoots 62 caliber. That was a better gun.

*cough cough* I have and am selling the gun, I have a basket that catches the clips as they fall out, and it works perfectly, the gun is in perfect working condition.

you registered today just to ask that question? Do you plan on ever visiting this forum anymore? Just curious.

Yes, I registered to this site just to ask that question, maybe more in the future though. No I do not plan on being here too much, as I have moved on from paintball and now work in the fields of Classic airsoft. What the hell is LMK?

I had those bag catchers too!

Where do you buy your paint?

I guess that winning bid of $152.76 sounds good.
I paid $350.00 for the gun alone (7 OZ tank)
Now, I think they are worth $100.00
If you can get $150.00 for the gun only, go for it.

Good Luck

No offense earlier..

I bought some off the internet a while back, can't remember where, but I just fired it with the 25 rounds I had left.
Oh yeah, I wasn't offended. just thought you read my first post wrong.

etc. etc.

just trying to get to know a new member. Ive been here for a while and lots of tippmann forum members know what I mean. Dont they? I hope so. If not, where is this thread going?

Turambar will close or delete it. There is a trading forum that you may want to post in before you go to ebay.

check it out.

I do miss those guns.
I sank $1,000.00 into all of my stuff by 1990.
I was glad to unload it all for $400.00.
I had two Guns, Two Clip Belts (army ammo belts),
Two 20 round springs & extender bars,
Plus the stock 15 round stuff,
Two Covered Clip Cathcers,
One Open Clip Catcher,
Two 7 ounce tanks,
One 12 gram Quick Change,
and 60 Orange Clips
(I almost sent one gun to Tippmann to get the longer barrel)

Maybe your local Paintball Shop or Field will let you sell it on consignment? Ebay is a good place to sell too!
