I believe K2 owns BE and now WGP. BE doesn't own WGP.

Just wondering, what sort of company is K2? Do they just own those pb companies, or do they also have their own line of paintball products...I've never heard of them.

They make good inline skates, my brother bought a pair and they have been super nice.

Mostly extreme sports kinda stuff. Snowboard, aggressive skates, skiis, etc.

Who knows? Maybe K2 will improve BE's quality. A long time ago japanese cars were junk, look at them today.

What are you talking about? Look at the old Datsun's or some of the old Toyota 3k's.

I mean a LOOONNG time ago, right after the big war. It wasn't an especially long period but it was there. They reorganized the management of every factory in Japan by order of the US man in charge of Japan at that time. They switched to what I believe they call TQM(Total Quality Management) now more commonly refered to as simply "Japanese Management". Shortly thereafter their quality became up to par, but becam superior to any other countries quality. Thats a very brief summary of the events. I love little japanese cars, I own a red celica convertible.

We're talking 50+ years ago, cars weren't exactly amazing back then in any country. I think that time span is almost negligible.

Thats not the point, the point is they went from crap to quality very quickly, and if anything their product was cheaper. Furthermore if K2 were to pull something like that with BE than they could actually become a respectable and industry leading company, instead of the laughing stock of the whole paintball community. It's possible, but I still think it's unlikely.

That is true, maybe it will happen. I doubt it though.

So do I, it's a shame though, they have the resources to really make pb mainstream. I think that may well be K2's ultimate goal in these acquisitions. If a company with the manufacturing resources of K2 really put it's muscle into it they could make equipment for the masses.

maby just maby somday there might be a autococker made by BE i know it is a scary thought but who knows if they are both owned by the same coumpany it just might happen.

BE is no longer an independantly owned company, they can't decide who makes what anymore. BE doesn't "make" anything anymore, K2 makes it all. K2 won't make cockers bad quality when they are already one of the top selling markers out there.

Any of you guys old enough to remember when AMC bought Harley? My dad tells me about it all the time.
