I have a shockteck delrin bolt. It is a good bolt, no o-rings, self lubricating. I did not notice a whole lot of a difference. It shoots a little bit faster, and I don't break balls. If you want, or need a bolt, get this one. If not stay with stock.

You can polish your stock bolt and remove the venturi insertto increase the flow.

IMO, upgrading the bolt shouldn't be your priority, unless you've already upgraded everything else.

You really only need to get a new bolt if you are going LP. In this case you should get an AKA Lightening bolt, AKA tornado valve, and a good LP chamber (AKA recommends their mighty max, but their are other ones that work just as well). Also, you would benefit from a shorter barrel, preferably a two piece, like a boomy. Of course, this is only if you want to go LP, otherwise you can just keep everything the way it is.

there are better and cheeper bolts than the AKA... White Wolf, Tarantula, and there ia a NW "N" bolt or something (don't know much on this one)

Turbo Valve is also really good, and also less expensive.

of course AKA recomends there lp chamber (duh)

In another thread you asked how a bolt works, and in this one, you say you know which ones work better? I'm confused...

And I was saying that AKA recommends the mighty max, but don't spend the extra money, since most LP chambers are almost exactly the same anyway...

I asked how a Bolt - LESS gun would work.. a gun without a bolt...

I know how my spyder and it's bolt works just fine :)

Here is a link to the review. If you have an xtra you can use the cocking rod off your old bolt, buy a 10/32x1/4 screw and your set. I paid $30 at my local pb store
