hey,

I have had this problem with my trigger freezing up and not shooting ever since i installed it, my trigger is a toxic performance double trigger, if it matters.
I can gas up my gun and shoot it fine, except as soon as I go rapid fire, it will shoot a few balls then, the trigger will still pull back, but it doesn't shoot. I then have to bang the side of my gun in ordwer for it to shoot again, but again, after one shot, the trigger can still be pulled, but it doesn't release the sear. I tried taking my gun apart, and saw that the spring on the trigger wasn't pushing the litlle metal piece far back enough to push the sear. I think it might be that the pins that holds the spring and metal piece in place is coming loose and holding the metal back, but I am not sure. If you guys could tell me what it is and how to fix it, that would be great, especially since I'm going balling tomorrow and I'm going to be really messed if I can only fire 1 bps.

Thanks

Actually I have a 98 but I've done so many mods that the trigger pull is down to 1.5mm so i can get some reasonably fast rof outta it. But I think you nailed down what I have to do.

Thanks

I've had the same problem. If you have a trigger stop, lengthen the pull a little. If you don't try filing down the groove that the metal clasp on the trigger goes in. Mine is a little tight on my metal trigger. If you don't wanna do that, get an old stock bolt drive spring, cut a bit off, and use that for the spring. It's tougher and will keep the metal clasp pushed out. Also, make sure your trigger spring is strong enough to push your trigger back all the way and fast enough.

My money is on the mods you did to the trigger, take em off and try it.
