clear evo

should i get a clear evo or a black one? i really want the clear one, but i heard it messes up the vision, so anyone got any insight on this?

Personal preference, I have a clear one, and my vision works flawlessly.

Id get the black because Ive heard that since the WAS eye is more sensitive that it can mess up the eye in mode 2. But if your not planning on getting WAS then never mind me . . .

i use black mainly because over time the clears seem to get stained and turn yellow. thats been my expierence with clears anyways. Ya I think the clear ones do mess up with WAS boards

either will have problems with the eye, the feed tube is clear on both the black and clear eggs.

But whats harder, outting a little black tape or marker around your feedneck, or trying to cover ur whole hopper with tape or marker?

paintballs arent transparent... light wont come from above the top of the hopper and then through the feedtube and through the paint and still be strong enough to mess up the eye

would a blue hao work fine with was and stock?

- I have not any issues using either my CLEAR EVO or my BLUE HALO with my equalized imp.

- many people don't like the clear evlution because "it's really bright when the sun hit's it." But I don't like black. You could always get a clear one and dye it with rit dye.

I would go with smoke, because black is hard to see paint on the field, and clear is illegal in a lot of tourneys because you can't see hits clearly.

Other issues seem to be that the clear feed neck of the Evo (any) can cause problems with reflecting onto the eye and not letting it see paint. Some people have had issues with it, some have not.

Forget the eggy if you have vision/equalized impulse! Rock the revvy! So much more balance and to me just works so much better!

yes, any halo would work with any eye, the drive assembly is blue on all the halos, that's why i dont like the reloader b, it's clear.

I tooke a marker to my Reloader B's feed tube/cone area, since it is clear, and I did have issues with it not seeing paint, now I don't:tup:
