alright my friend just got his new impulse:D and we put on a new compressed air tank just filled and all of the air shoots out the front of the regulator. Does this have something to do with the dwell(sp?) ? How can he fix this because we are going to play tomorrow and he really wants to use his new gun?? So reply really quickly plz
theres something wrong with the hoses and the insides of the reg, take it apart, see if anythings broken or missing, oil it, and pout it back together.

i thought i heard some other people talking about having the same problem with theirs and that u just had to change the dwell time or something. He would go to our proshop to fix it but they want 20 bucks because he didnt buy it there. So you think he should clean the reg? it seems likes the reg isn;t broke because its going through the overflow value in the front. Is there something to turn down to fix it? like change the output pressure on teh reg or something?

OK-You say that it is shooting out the front of your regulator. Is this a bottom line Reg or a Vertical reg. The front could mean 2 different things. What is the pressure read on the gauge? Please be as specific as you can so we can help you solve this problem.

its a bottom line reg and the guage goes all the way to the top when it is screwed it but he doesnt screw it in fully because we think it would snap.

Lower the operating pressure by turning the velocity cap counter clockwise a couple of turns.

Do what wolvy said. You need to lower your operating pressure before you hurt something. Turn it all the way down, so it is almost all the way out and then screw you tank in. When the tank is screwed all the way in turn you reg up so the pressure reads about 180 psi. You should be all set then.

aight this what u need to do:
~turn down the pressure on your reg
~put an extra oring inside the reg between the asa and the
bottle
~make sure u screw it all the way in (it wont break it is just very
tough)
~then turn the pressure up to 190 psi (yes this is best pressure
for gas efficiency)
~redwell your gun
~get out there and kick some ***
Peace
