I tried greedys trigger mod to shorten the slop but it didnt work. instead, the gun fired about 10 shots every time i pulled the trigger. what did i do wrong? has anyone else had this problem?

I think it's because you have an egrip and he has the jcs .45 grip frame or something. So, why did you do it with the egrip anyways? It's not gona make it any different.

It stopped working for Greedy as well, he's going to fiddle and make some refinements. I'm sure he'll come back with the improvements when he gets it all ironed out.

I'm going to have to revise it, it's not working consistantly. But when I get it working exactly I'll put it up.

Sorry :(.

dude, if u have the egrip, leave it alone... its already short enough.

I failed to read the post entirely. Those modifications were not meant for the E-grip. They were meant for the Mechanical A-5 Trigger.

Get that new blade trigger from www.bp-usa.com, the last person in the Tippmann picture thread has it installed on his marker.

My e-grips in the tippmann shop getting a new armature pin, this was with my mech trigger. the mod is actually just as useful to E-grip users, it decreases the dead area after the gun has fired. how would it affect the E-grip differently? i mean it uses the same mech trigger setup

I don't know the internal design difference, if any, of the E-grip so I didn't intend for it to be used for that. If it works great, but unless I have personally tried it out I just didnt suggest it.
