HEY,
The flatline is your best answer, but people need to realize your not goona get a paintball gun to be a sniper. Some barrels may shoot better than others, but because of all the consistancies in the sport of paintball, you will never have a sniper or a one shot one kill average.......... ever. Good luck and happy hunting.

Flatline is only for the Tippmann. Probably a 16 for other guns.

if u relly want gud sniper range, yer gunna want a 20+ inch barrle. Tehy r so acurat and giv so much rang. Mak shure u git a rifeld barrle.

Snipers are Marines, not paintballers. If you wanna snipe people, go to Iraq. 12-16 inch is the recommended range in size, other than that, it's personal preferance.

anything above 16" is pointless...try the flatline if u have patience

longer than 16" is useful sometimes, if you play on a field with larger bunkers, an 18" will allow you to "push" into them a little better and shoot around. Although it does decrease effeciency.

Granted anything over about 8" is just to quiet the noise and to decrease fps and effeciency.

If you wanna be a sniper, get a flatline... but don't expect it to be the "end all" of barrels

Buy a used one, much cheaper.

An 18" or longer barrel on a tippmann looks just stupid though, as the gun is just extreamly long. Although on shorter guns it works out somewhat nicer.

Sniper barrels are a waste of air. What is wrong with a 12 inch?

I'd say a 10 inch would be a good size for a sniper.

HEY,
I was trying to say the same thing kowz. Snipers are marines not p[aintballers. But ya, if you get a 20 or 18 inch barrel, it is actually useless if you ask me. Hey if worse comes to worse, you could always poke them with the barrel.lol Good luck and happy hunting.

If you get a "sniper barrel", you will probably be mad at yourself later. A very long barrel makes it hard to get into bunkers tight, and they waste air. They aren't much more accurate than a shorter barrel at all. And the biggest reason not to get one is that people will laugh at you and most times won't take you seriously. I know because I do it. :biglaugh:

I say get a 2-+ incher... why settle for a weak 12" when you can have a 30" barrel and shoot across 5 FOOTBALL FIELDS AND HIT A PENNY ON THE OTHER SIDE!! WOOHOO! :P

But really, there are no snipers in pball, just get a 12" or 14" barrel and you'll be happy.

seeing as how the flatline is the only barrel that can even remotely be considered a "sniper" barrel, that gets the vote.

a 16,18,20,22,40,80, or 100 inch barrel will not help you. All it will do is cause extra drag on the ball as it is leaving the barrel.

Only time to even consider anything over 12 or 14 is for sup'air, but based on your question and wording, you don't need to worry about this.
