I shot a case of All stars this weekend and I could almost almost stand on these things with all of my weight and they wouldn't break. Did I get a bad batch or has anyone else had this problem??

All stars are usually very good paint. If it was very hot/humid outside, then that could have affected them. I think you must have gotten a bad batch.

There was another thread that was talking about how all stars got crappy all of the sudden. http://www.pbreview.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=223421

Hmmm, thats weird, 3 of my friends that I played with last weekend were using All Stars, and they rarely broke. In one game alone I think I felt around 4 or 5 of them bounce off me.

When I've used All Stars and have had them hit me. I havent been happy with their performance. I haven't seen them break that easily, even at close range. I'm just not a real big fan of them.
I think with All Stars there tends to be a few batches here and there that are just rocks. A couple years ago my friend bought a bag of All Stars and everytime that he'd shoot me they'd hurt like a mother. I'd call myself out just to stop the pain and find out after that the paint didn't even break. They're not the greatest of paints.

it must be getting more common...freakin took 14 drops from ~6' for it to just barely crack, plus the whole case was freakin lop sided and i had to use my 695" insert just to shoot the things or i would get barrel breaks.
This is the first and last time that i buy all stars, infact i'm just gonna stray away from rps/pmi for alittle bit. untill i get a bad batch of diablo/draxxus paint(hasn't happened yet).

I think what happend is when pmi bought out rps they found that rps had sockpiled a lot of paint.I found out there a new red box from pmi that just the new packaging for big balls from my local pb shop.marbs have been selling better i and i think the cheap all stars have been sitting in the warhouse for to long.if you do a bonce test and there up to the 8-9 drop try to fix them by take 10 or so in small bag and cup of water near it to soften the shells.

I really tend not to use pmi\rps paint. Draxxus paint just is cheaper and generally higher quality too.

I really haven't had great experiences with PMI paint recently. After the case of all stars I went through a case of premium and they worked better than the all star but I have been much happier with Draxxus Blaze. And Blaze is always cheaper.
Anyone else have PMI's new bags break while they were loading?? This happened to me with both the Premium and All stars. I have had to just move the paint into ziplock bags as soon as I open them.
