Sh**t that was close

Let's hear some stories about close calls where you were almost hit, or where you were hit but barely.

One time I was playing with my brother and cousin. I could see my brother who was kinda far away and he didn't know i was there. I didn't know where my cousin was but thought he was far away, but he was real close. I started shooting at my brother and he returned fire there was some branches in between us that broke some of our balls but over half the balls were getting through, but we weren't hitting each other. Then all of a sudden I hear my cousin firing from my right and a bunch of paint goes flying past my face. I was partially hidden from my cousin by the tree so I stepped back a little and he had no shot but kept firing, he was getting close though. Meanwhile I was still firing at my bro. I must have hade some bounces because I swear I had hit him. Anyways, I felt a paintball go right through my hair (I comb my hair straight back, but need hairspray to keep it laying down. I wasn't using hairspary that day so my hair was kinda sticking straight up. That paintball musta missed the top of my mask by less than 2 inches.) I felt my hair and looked at my hand but the paint didn't break. In the end my bro and I stopped firing at each other and I circled around behind my cousin, he didn't even know I was there and I shot him out without him returning fire. We were playing this game where you have to touch the fron of a huge fort.

And we started a ways back, and the guy in the fort had a paintball gun, and nobody else did.

We set up a bunch of bunkers along the way to the fort, but a few were a ways apart (we were playing on the sand).

So I jump out from behind a fallen down tree and reun to the other bunker, and all along the way I see paintballs hitting thebeach in front of me, but I made it easily.

Then I got up to the next bunker which was a leaning bouat. and at the bow you could look under to see the guy in the fort.

Well I kept sticking my head under and he'd shoot, and miss. and since it was aluminum t was real loud, but the last time he got me right in the face mask.

Then another time I was at the boat, he was shooting at my cousin so I just crawled on my hands and knees real quietly to the next bunker, cuz he wasn't looking, but when I got about a foot from it he turned and lit up the bunker just barely missing me :)


Geese all you guys must be good, if you have no close calls.

Oh then this other time, I was playing againts one other guy we both popped out from behind corners in the road and shot at each other and our paintballs intercepted and blew up right in front of me... (It was the coolest thing) the other guy and I just stopped for a minute and were like WOW@

I remember a time when I was playing with my younger brother (14) and we were about 100 feet away from each other. I shot a ball and it was headed straight for his mask, but at the last second he noticed it and matrixed it. He does a lot of quick stuff like that.

stand off 15 feet away. two in my bunker two in theirs. no one could bunker because it was one person per side of bunker. sucky situation. we were shooting at eachother for about 2 minutes when they started to get dumb. i picked one of them off that was leining out from the corner and we decided to go for the other one. my friend provided cover and i bunkered but little did i know that he changed bunkers! i swung around the corner, him not being there but one bunker back! he poped up and started blasting away full autoand missing AND I WAS IN THE OPEN! some hit and bounced but my friend got him in the end. it was pretty scarry

yeah it did. my bdu's still have brown streaks in them jk

oh yeah! one time my friend went paintballing and he did the same thing except there was the person he was trying to bunker and a person he didnt know was in the bunker behind that one so he got shot up at point blank

I was playing on sunday and some kid came up to bunker me and he was running to my bunker and he tripped and flew onto the ground and his mask came off. I almost shot him in the eye, it was kinda of scary because he was lying there trying to put his mask on and i almost shot his face.

Ok, I'm playing speedball with some friends and some guys I don't know at the local indoor field. After a few minutes of shooting, I make a move and bunker two newbs (in the same bunker no less) with the swing around method. Guy behind them starts lighting things up with his angel on three shot burst. :eek:

I dive to the left and hug my gun close, but I'm still in the open, I roll into a bunker next to me with my open hand outstreched and catch a three round burst in my palm. Put the paintballs in my hopper and shot them back at him. :)

Had the welts for weeks.

I'm pretty sure that the paint would have boken. Come on are you trying to tell us that the three paintballs which came right after each other all stayed in your hand without breaking. You sound like one of those peple who likes to stretch the truth.

Hey, I'm just telling it how it is, I rolled, into the bunker and felt something hit my hand, when i look, I'm holding three paintballs between the fingers of my glove, and in the palm. They may have bounced though, I wasn't looking when they hit me.

yeah just because it didnt happen to you doesnt mean that you have to get anal about it
