Hey i found an on off valve for real cheap like 13 bux so will stop my co2 orings from freezing off? is there anyway to take out your tank without freezing the oring?

Somebody already posted an answer in a previous thread to a question similar to yours, I hope i remember it correctly.

When screwing in your tank listen for when the pin in your tank is pushed in and co2 flows into your marker (you can hear that little rushing sound) Then only turn the tank another half turn or so (remembering how far you turned it) Then when you go to take off the tank unscrew it half a turn (or however much you screwed it in after you heard the co2 rush) Then unscrew it just a little more (that little extra gets it so the pin in the co2 tank is no longer depressed) Then fire you marker several times, this should use up the co2 left in your marker and hoses.

Hope that made sense and I remembered it correctly:)

There is a tad bit simpler way. Screw the tank in so that the gas is engaged. When you want to disconnect, turn the gun upside down so that balls don't feed, fire, unscrew the tank a bit, fire, unscrew a bit more, fire, repeat (usually takes about 4 times) until the gun starts to shoot down.

But with an On/Off valve you just turn the valve off, shoot your remaining shots, and unscrew. No wasted Copoo.

True. An On/Off is the simplist way to go.

But getting an on/off valve is just way too easy :) jk

I am thinking of getting a on/off valve too. I hate wasting co2 everytime I take off my tank.
