If you are a backyard woods player and you are reading this then you have probably experienced this before. If you are playing in a gated community like me, then try to get permission from the main office to play and if you arent then try to get permission from city hall or somewhere else. We all love this game and it saddens me when i hear or experience not being able to play in a certain area because of being kicked out. First of all don't go shooting houses in the middle of knight and if you know who is doing it then report them and ask the authorities to only punish him and allow the rest of the paintball players not to be punished for this morons' mistakes.
Well, here is my story.
I live in a gated community and we play in an area that is trying to be sold by my development (has been for years) and everytime we go out and play we unpack everything and take it down into the woods and while we are doing so we always have this one guy that stands at the edge of his driveway and watches us, looking like he wants to say something. So, one day i finally go up to him and say, " would you like to know what exactly is going on, if you would then i would be more than happy to tell you." And his response was, " I dont care what you punk ***** kids are doing, I'm going to call the cops this time. I told him that we were doing nothing wrong and that he should talk to us with a little more or not talk to us at all. Well, while we were playing I saw something walking up a path and assuming that it was an enemy i shot at it and the next hting i know i have a gun in my face and the cop is saying, put down your weapon and back away. I did as he asked and i told him what happened and he said that we need to leave the premisis because there was a complaint. Well, i told him that we have a written agreement from the main office to play here until this area is torn down for a building. I showed it to him and showed him that we clean all of our trash up everytime we play. He agreed to allow us play and hasn't bothered us since.
I guess what i am saying is that if you play in the woods, try to get permission and always clean up before you leave to prevent not having a place to play.
