Alright, we play... almost exculsivly outlaw ball here, and I found this awesome place to paintball when exploring on my fourwheeler (i live in the country) anyway. It is owned by someone I kinda know, and I was wondering if i could get some waivers, or what the deal is, if i ask him if we could play there, and he says yes, but someone gets hurt. What could happen? Could they sue? Is it just a bad idea to play there? Can anyone help me with this dilemma?
(sorry for my bad... typing, i realize how retarded i may sound)
you can edit this wavier

Yeah, make sure you take care of all that legal stuff. Nowadays everyones middle name is Sue.

do i need parent signatures? because for that, it's almost more trouble than it's worth, we can just play somewhere else... or what are other possible solutions?

Tell them to forge the signatures and if they should decide to sue, it can be used against them in court and the case will be dismissed as they did not agree to the waiver. (Or something like that)

So... you're gonna ask someone you kinda know if you can play on their property, but sue them if someone gets hurt? I dont think that ****'ll fly...

Waivers aren't useful at all really, ask any lawyer. They are merely a formality to satisfy an insurance company but if someone wants to sue you a waiver won't help in that case.

Some type of insurance would be nice, but that can be expensive. Just play as safe as you can and still get waivers signed just to be on the safer side.

Yeah, just play safe. I've played a lot of paintball in my day, and never seen any paintball-related injuries. There have been people tripping and hurting themselves pretty badly, but nothing that couldn't happen playing soccer or any other sport.

It never hurts to ask. Just don't tresspass, that is how you get in trouble and hurt the image of our sport.
