I just got my gun and i need to adjust the velocity to the right amount. However, i play behind my house and don't have access to a chrono. Is there a way to adjust my gun to a good veolocity without using a chrono?
Thanks

I think i could have my friend fire a gun, and see where the paintball lands.. And then shoot mine and adjust accordingly. HE had his veolicty set like a day ago.

It's really so much better to just go to a field and check. zThe "How far does it shoot" method is very innacurate, and it's completely unsafe not to chrono your guns. You can end up with broken fingers, or worse

it just arrived...should it be ok out of the box? or do they usually need adjusting?

Or knocked out. Last summer I got shot on top of the head. I saw stars and felt like my knees were folding up. The guy who shot me said "I cronied it two weeks ago, suck it up and quit whining". We have a hand held unit now. We paid $120 for it but I've seen them as cheap as $80.
