i dont own the e-mag but ive shot it a lot. My friend has it and plays with it in all our matches. It seems like a reliable gun, and it is pretty accurate but.........the Rof isn't that great with out the warpfeed and a 12v it really needs that faster feed to really get a good Rof. Some people say its heavy but it weighs about the same as an angel 2k1. I dunno if its worth the price, the cheapest ive seen it for is 1200, for that you can get an angel 2k1 which is lighter and easier to field strip. In the end, the emag shoots a lot like an angel with added weight, and a harder to clean inside. Also, not many people know that much about the gun so help is hard to come by.

With hybrid, you get all the benefits of reactive mode, without having to worry about short stroking, and that's always so very nice. If you're just planning on using it as plain electro, you may as well just upgrade a 68 mag with a better valve and an ELCD, because essentailly that's what the e-mag is, only with the option to have hybrid, electro, or RT firing modes.

Yep, and in electro mode, all it is , is a normal mag, with an electronically operated sear. So really, it isnt a completely new gun, it's 2 existing guns, with a new feature put into it. Which i think is kinda cool, 'cause you can mess around with it 'till you find something you like. Also, I'd say they shoot damn nice as well, today Tom Kaye had one when he was playing with his team "SOBs", hooked up to a warpfeed and he was gettin really long strings of 13 bps (you can tell it was maxxed, because the firing became very evenly spaced) which means he was pulling at 13 or higher on that thing. Plus, the e-mags just look beatiful in person. I like my intimmy better, but if you're really set on the e-mag, it's a good deal.

20 bps is right. The RT can fire 26 without dropoff. The e-mag can't because it has a heavier bolt made of a stronger alloy. I'm looking into an e-mag myself. Where I play, EVERYONE has angels. You can get an e-mag for $1000 on paintballgear.com. You can get polished (power/centerfeed) or teflon black with powerfeed. Field strip is easy dude. The e-mag has the same field strip screw as any mag. The only difference between the gun and an RT is the grip frame and the battery. Anyways, to strip it, you just pull out the little screw under the valve assembly, and pull it out. Another advantage of the E-mag over angel is the easy to remove barrel. My rig is gonna cost me around $1200. That includes e-mag, 68ci steel crossfire, crossfire drop-forward, and a revvy. If you read the paintballstar.com review, they have a lot of cool pictures, and you can see the size of the gun in a persons hand. The one thing I don't like about the e-mag is that you have to run that damn hose up to the valve...
