Hi there guys, I'm getting an old bushy (bm2k) and was wondering how i can tweak it out a little bit. I'm not really new to bushy since i owned a Defiant a year ago, but i was quitting for a while and am so out of it. So i got a few questions for ya :

1. Will Halo B cause double feed with the stock detent ? If so, how do u fix this ?

2. can I change the trigger frame with the newer (blade - 2k3) trigger frame ? Is it worth it, or i should just save for an OTB frame ?

3. I don't really wanna mess with the internals, but if i get a chaos board, what internal mods (valve) that's gonna give me the best performance ?

4. Is the Supafly bolt any good ?

Thx guys. I've been researching but it's scattered everywhere and my brain doesn't work that way :)

1. Will Halo B cause double feed with the stock detent ? If so, how do u fix this ?No you still have the cocker detent in there so you really shouldnt have this issue its only with the new oring detents that it seems to come up in

2. can I change the trigger frame with the newer (blade - 2k3) trigger frame ? Is it worth it, or i should just save for an OTB frame ? yes you can change to a 2k3 trigger frame or an OTB, basically both are better then the earlier frame its just a matter of what are you more comfortable with a 45* or a 90* frame

3. I don't really wanna mess with the internals, but if i get a chaos board, what internal mods (valve) that's gonna give me the best performance ?Either the vapor, zenitram or the macdev will give you just about the same performance from reviews ive seen, its all really preference

4. Is the Supafly bolt any good ?there really is no need for a 3rd party bolt unless you want to prevent chops (blindbolt which isnt out yet) or you have blowback (Vapor II Bolt)

Thx guys. I've been researching but it's scattered everywhere and my brain doesn't work that way :)

yea yoda's got it covered. Bushy stock bolts are pretty good. only thing they could add to it is o-rings, but thats just for blowback, which isn't a very common problem for bushys. So you dont really need a new bolt. but if you really want a new bolt, the Supafly and the new Bone Break Z4 bolt are both good, and are available at www.tantrumpaintball.com

zenitram and vaporworks valves are pretty much the exact same thing, ive heard. i would go for the vapor because it comes with black magic cup seal and a lifetime warranty on the seal or something, i think. the red valve is good too. ive read some reviews saying it is better than vapor, but others say vapor is better, so i guess it just depends on preference.

Thx a bunch guys. I know that i really won't be getting a lot of blowback. at least not on my Defiant (miss my baby :( ).

Somebody here mentioned about a test u can do to check ur blowback; put a piece of toilet paper on top of the feed neck and fire the gun. If it blew the paper away then u got urself a blowback problem. But with my defiant it sorta just flinched the paper but never blew it away, so I guess my airsmith somehow managed to sweetspot the reg or something.

to test for blowback yes that is the proper method but make sure you have a ball in to shoot as well otherwise the test doesnt give you proper results.

You really shouldnt worry about blowback with a Halo.
