Since I have two hoppers, a Halo B and a reloader, I was wanting to trade the Halo or sell it and use my Reloader on a warp feed. What are your guys take on this. I am more of a front guy and I like the idea of not having my hopper sticking out anymore. It is confusing to the opposing team, cause they will think that you are just sticking your head out to look, when you are really shooting at them, since they wont be able to see the hopper stick out anymore.
What do you guys think. I think it will look frekkin cool too, esp w/ my 7.5in bigshot.
EDIT: I have done a search and the only good info that I have found is the thread w/ willpills pic.

My question is what kind of feedneck mod is needed to make it work?

I have never felt a gun with a warp feed but it seems annoying to have that big thing sticking out of the side, I would sell the reloader and keep the halo but thats just my :twocents:

you are going to need to get a different adapter if you decide to use the AGD warp.
also, it would be cool if you could get a custom 90* feedneck like the ones found on AGD bodies... it would give the gun a nice clean look than trying to connect through the big ole plastic neck.
other than that, i dont see any problems... i want to warp my gun also but it will look damn ugly with an egg.

Does the warp feed attach on to the gun?

yeah it does it has a plate thing that hooks on to where our ASA/drop would go that supports the warpfeed, and you could just get a pro-team power feed unlike that Lapco feed shown in the picture so you're tube for the Warp feed won't have to loop around the Marker

on second thought... scratch warping my m98...
warping = more weight and trust me, i have enough of that, and more batterys which = more money

Gettin tired of that heavy halo, eh? :P . I think it'd be pretty cool, but I don't relly like how it would make the gun kinda lopsided, and how you cant get those last 20 balls or so in the tube.

I was looking around and saw the pro team warp feed. But, its like 180 bucks. I dont want to spend that much. I thought maybe I could get the AGD warp to fit, and try to find one for around 70-80 used. Youre right eryk, I think the eggy would look weird on it and make it kinda back heavy.
I would really like to do it though. Not that my Halo is too heavy, but just to get it outta the way. I dont know how comfortable it would be if I mounted it on the left side anyway cause that may make me have to reach around it kinda weird to reach my stab/foregrip. I really like the looks of it and how it keeps everything tight and compact.
Oh well, I guess I wont be doing it, unless I find a good deal on one locally and I can try it out. Im not worried about the last 20 balls or so either, Ill just reload, unless Im outta paint :D.
Thanks for th input guys. If I do decide to warp it in the future, Ill let ya know how it is, and post some new pics.

A friend of mine has a warped 98 and he loves it. It's a little weird fully loaded,(feels kinda tippy toward the left). I don't know if you' re interested in it but I've been using the Q-loader now for about 5 1/2 months now and its great. No batteries & real low profile. But it boils down to personal preferance & funding. You can buy a Q for $130 and thats the 5 pod tourney pak. Ive played a handfull of games w/ it now & in my opinion it makes my old eggy look dumb. Plus it'll keep right up w/the warp-(BPS).
Good luck with it, but thats half the fun now isn't it;) .

A q-loader might actually be a better idea.

nope, no q loader for me. I want something that I can add on or exchange my Halo for. I dont want to have to wind up the loader, and I dont like the fact that it attaches under the barrel. My 7.5 in bigshot would look hideous w/ it.
I dont really mind if it tilts a little to the left. my old lady doesnt either, if ya catch my drift. JK.
I will try to find a good deal on one around here.
thanks guys

This is kind of funny I thought about doing this too once.
I decided not to on the basis of price and weight. Price is self explanitory, Warps aren't cheap. Weight, I'm no girly man, but after a day at the field when the adrenaline tanks start running low I start to notice the ten pounds of aluminum and plastic I've been luging around all day. To me the warp was more weight in a bad position. At least it makes the marker back heavy though.
To each his own, but this, IMO, is one to do at your own risk as well. Good luck with it.

Yep you can use the AGD warp on your tippy. I actually plan on doing it sometime.
The only thing extra you'll need is either the Pro-team elbow or the LAPCO direct feed. Each will allow the hose to be used with your 98.
Bourne has some warps for sale. Check out his sig if you're interested.
Also, that's not willpill's gun. I'd have to look in the picture thread, but it's an old, old member's gun.

You don't have to mount the Q-Loader under the barrel, Yak. You could mount it along your tank or down from your barrel. Along side the tank is actually not as uncomfortable as people would think. Plus Pre-Winding each pod is EASY. You do it once and you're set for the day. If you mean loading it each time, still easy. You could use your Halo or another extra agitated hopper to feed into the loading tube. I use my Ricochet to load into the tube that is hooked up to the socket then you wind and you're set. It's not tedious or as annoying as it may seem, not at all. In fact, it's a LOT easier to reload than any conventional hopper. No spills, no spills and did I mention, no spills?
Mr. Green, how could you have had the Q-Loader for 5 and a half months? It was released February 2nd that was only 3 months and 6 days ago. I bought mine the week it came out and have only had it since the middle of February.
Yakitori, that gun you dug outta the archives is one of my favorite Tippmanns of all time. Ahh LostInTheWoods, I miss that guy. He was awesome. :D

I'm not trying to spam up this thread, but I was wondering, how does the Warp Feed work? Is there some kind of vaccum that goes from the hopper to the elbow? You're gun, Yakitori, looks awesome, but very complicated....

That's not Yak's marker, it's LostInTheWoods. An old PBR member.
The Warp Feed has a fan inside that, essentially, pushes the balls through the tube into the chamber. The balls fall from the hopper into the Warp itself and is then pushed through. Go to www.airgun.com for more or check out www.automags.org.

ya guys, thats not my tippmann in the pic. I just dug it up w/ a SIMPLE search :). took me all of 2 minutes. darn dialup (pbdude :P)
anyway, you guys have given me a lot to think about and I would like to say thank you to eryk and tura for both giving me information on where to get one for a decent price.
Ive also seen a lapco direct feed in the actionvillage catalog for only 12.99. But the website shows 20+ bucks. Wonder what thats all about.
Thanks a lot guys. I still would like to go w/ the warp over the q loader. Its only 15 oz extra. so it only adds about 1 pound to the setup, w/ batts. I could always buy a smaller tank, like a 12 or 14 oz to drop the weight back down if I think it is too heavy. Ill consider it, and like I said, Im only gonna buy one if I can find a good deal on it. And remember, my Halo B will help pay for it.

I will defintitely let you guys know how I like it and its performance, once I get it hooked up and running. I will also try to get some pics of the setup after I getting it on.
I have managed to find some really good deals (w/ some help from eryk and Tura), and may not have to sell the Halo B yet. So, it doenst have to be a permanent decision. Since I used to have a Lapco direct feed and sold it, I know how it is to sell things and wish you had them back. :)
If all goes well, then I can make a decision of which I like better. I may just end up keeping it all. This way, I can switch back n forth depending on my mood (which can be unstable at times :P)
Thanks guys
peace

well guys, the Halo B is gone. :( J/K
I traded the Halo straight up for a NIB warp feed. I am now gonna run my reloader on top of it. I think it will still be plenty fast. BTW p8ntba11dude89. check your PMs.
Ill get pics up for you guys once I get stuff setup. Im still debating wheter to hook it up on the right or left side. Guess I can try both and see what I think it comfy.
I am a conformist :P J/K Tura. haha.
