should i buy the imagine or step it up to the tes?? is the eye worth it and what exactly does it do?? i might play some tournments but mostly wood ball. i dont know if i should shell out the extra cash since i will have to get a halo to keep up which is way more expensive than the imagine with the eggy2. can u guys guide me the right way and please try to keep it unbiased

i would grab the tes its faster then the imagine it also has the eye witch will not let the gun shoot unless there is a ball in the breach, i dont see why u need a halo?? i use a smoke egg 2 w/ y board that does 180balls in 9 seconds = 20bps and i never out shoot my hopper
ps. if ur woundering why i have one of the fastest egg2's w/ y is cuz i did some mods to it

get the TES. it is way better than any spyder. Look at the TES comparison forum, and it will give u a bunch of reasons why you should get it.

yea definately upgrade from an electronic blowback to another electronic blowback... but seriously save up a litle more money and move up to either a cocker or an electro or get a nice used mag

Save up more money and buy a BKO. You only need an egg for a TES or BKO.

Be ready to work on a TES. I have one and love it, but you either get a great marker or a bad one and there is no in between. I have read that alot of people are having to send them back to Dragun/OGI before they work well. I have had to replace all the original orings and put teflon tape on the front block. I still need to get a new main spring. I would not trade my TES for any marker in its price range. I say get a TES and try it good luck. Also i have an egg and it is plenty fast for my TES. I don't have the new board in my egg yet.

dont listen to them i have a tippmann procarbine i usly use for woods and well i was having bad luck getting out shot and well i pulled out my dragun tes and played another round against a team of 5 and got 3 of them out and 2 out of the 3 have an a-5, you can own with the tes like i said sure the imagine is a fine gun that has a full auto and burst but whats going to help you in the future if you play a tourny most tournys dont allow full auto guns anyways beside i have 8 friends with full auto spyders and i still amazed them how fast and accurate i can shoot with the tes and its only semi auto

I would get the spyder and with the money saved put it towards hpa. Also reno county you can make the spyder not be able to change modes easily. p41ntballjunkie I don't know about you but in woods I would rather have a spyder then a tippmann. Just my :twocents:

The TES is a good bet. I have owned both mags and cockers and so far neither of those can even come close to keeping up with a TES as far as BPS is concerned (unless the do extremely expensive mods).
The mag would probably be more reliable because you can drive tent stakes with it and shoot it afterwards same as a tippmann.

ImprezaWRC, whats up with u man. There are people who dont want to have an expensive gun. They just want to play paintball. Maybe you should think about that, instead of assuming that everybody wants to buy an angel or timmy

so can you only hit 20bps when you're in auto mode? or can you also hit 20bps with semi?

ok it all depends on how fast u can move ur fingers (if ur fingers move 20 bps then the gun will shoot 20bps if ur fingers move 7 bps the gun will shoot 7 bps)
the fastest i have herd of is 19bps on the tes and that was a burst of 19 with some bounce, he was shooting consistant at around 16-17 bps (anything over 10 bps is not aiming imo)
ps, so the answer is yes it can shoot 20 bps in both modes
but the catch is, u have to be able to fan ,walk, (i would say rake but u cant.) 20bps for the gun to shoot that fast

ether way you go its a good set up, if you get the spyder though upgrade HPA and new barrel first and foremost ;)
ImprezaWRC is a ICD Spy ignore him he likes attention :eyepop:

im not an icd spy i just think that the bko is better than the "one" because it is.
No where in my post did i say to get any icd gun i just suggested that he move up to a higher end type gun, because going from a gun thats an electronic blowback to another gun thats also a blowback doesnt seem like the correct road to choose for me. if you want to shoot faster with a blowback just get a new board for your imagine, an IS swich and a halo or HPA, that would be much wiser

ImprezaWRC, I don't know if this will change your views (It still doesn't change mine) but he doesn't own the Imagine yet. Read the post a little bit more carefully.

I think it depends on how long you want to keep the gun. If you're going to eventually buy a new gun, get the sypder and spend the extra money on a new regulator and drop. If you want to keep the gun for two years or more, get the TES, there is a huge performance differance, and the eye is great for slow hoppers.

The TES is just all around fast and sleek...way better for the price. Is it really a hard decision?
